From age 26 I had the opportunity to visit Hawaii a couple of times and move the in early 80s. Spent nrly 8 yrs on Maui. Every time I saw the Hula, heard a chant, participated in a ceremony the hairs on my arms stood on end. The communication to the soul and spirit is stimulating and mesmerizing.

Draco Sol it’s a LOT of strain on your knees and legs bc their legs are bent the entire time they are dancing. If you look closely at the girl’s feet at 6:18 you’ll see that she’s pushing her feet upward. Imagine doing that multiple times while you’re legs are bent too

It's kinda sad u don't really see as many "Hawaiian" people dancing!! Show of how much out culture has changed, kalamai if the people in there chanting and dancing are Hawaiian by blood which really matters!!
