Hearing Merrill Reese say, "The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl champions" brought a tear to my eye. I've been listening to this man broadcast Eagles games my whole life. My dad listened to his broadcasts for all of his life as well. And finally, after so many decades, he got to announce to Philadelphia that the Eagles were Super Bowl champions. What an incredible moment.

Around 14 years old, I fell in love with Merrill Reese calling the eagles games, and one of the worst times I can remember is his call after the last Super Bowl loss. Since then, Sunday’s are my day of religious radio dial tuning to these men. 4 weeks ago getting hyped for the biggest game in our lives. Can't believe it still getting emotional when I see, hear or think about the Birds winning their first Super Bowl. So many amazing stories about this team all year long and some of the classiest players in NFL history on this team. Jenkins and Long showed unity from the get go and everybody just bought into it and Coach Ped's calm, easygoing demeanor. Never have I been so proud of a team even if they had not won it was an amazing ride. You'll never walk alone Eagles the phaitful will always remember this one and dinner probably free for life for any member of the LII winning team when in Philly. Fly Eagles Fly!

My Mom passed in 2009 and was a HUGE Eagles fan (who went to the 60 championship), I always think of her when i see videos of the SB

Harry Kalas and Merrill Reese. The two best commentators in the history of sports both honored the same city with their voices. And it shows a lot that we as Philly fans go so far as to love our commentators as much as our players. I don't think I could say the same for other cities.
