Rita Heilig Best way to explain it is this.. women’s estrogen levels drops the older you get. Well, for men It’s our testosterone level that drop. Low testosterone levels can affect you mood, sex drive as well as your overall energy. So, for the same reason women who go through menopause and receive hormone replacement therapy, men will choose to have testosterone hormone therapy or replacement. Mind you, low testosterone is not something older men go through, but at any age if your testosterone levels are much lower than other guys in your own age group.

Odd ad. How much are they paying him? Plenty we can be sure. I had a condition since I was a young man called "varicocele." It's a varicose vein in the testicle...it's somewhat common. At that time, 35 years ago, the wisdom was "We have a surgery that can fix it, but if it doesn't bother you, then don't mess with it." As I reached middle age I developed a whole laundry list of symptoms including short temper and poor memory. I was diagnosed with low testosterone. I used the gel and the patch, and it helped but not enough. Come to find out that modern wisdom is that varicocele is more damaging to a man's health than was previously thought. I got the surgery and it was like a fountain of youth for me. Most symptoms vanished, with a few still troubling me but to much less degree.
