Fascinating to learn about all those accents, I would never have noticed. English is not my first language so i notice some differences but I don't get quite how strong they are. I loved this stream and learned much and more 😊

Very interesting, Robert. I realised Merry was touched by darkness more often than Pippin and maybe Sam, too. In the barrow-downs, he relives the last moments of (it seems) the last prince of Cardolan. He was also wounded at Amon Hen unlike Pippin. And of course, that nasty encounter with the Witch-King. And I remember that Lexi (Girl next Gondor) fittingly compared him to a 'Mini-Aragorn'
