I absolutely love this channel! Y’all play commander like my friends and I do. This is the best kitchen table commander play I have seen. Just 4 people playing! It feels produced but not over produced.

Surprised he could cast blim since Grid Monitor has the unique ability of the controller not able to cast creatures..... oh well they seemed to be ready for the game to be over. Good game none the less. Thanks Thanks the fun video! One of these days I would love for Mat to play my Rakdos list on the channel. Think he would enjoy the chaos it brings to games.

all the bad santa commanders, super cool. Blim is especially cool , even tho I havent piloted it before. But I think you guys mightve read him wrong (minor mistake), combat damage trigger (gift), then EVERYONE (not just the player you hit) loses and discards based on how many "gifts" they have on the field. imo this has to be a very powerful card, holy cow. crazy.

Guys, I read your Blim commander decklist and can you please tell me why Archfiend of Dross is so popular in all of them? When Archfiend kills opponent, it returns to you and kills you since he still has no counters on him. Don't play him in Blim, better play Primordial Ooze, great budget option for Blim that no one knows about.

When a player leaves the game (i.e. when Esmond's life total became 0), the first thing that happens is one-shot control effects end, including the Crown and the Hithlain Rope. These cards should go back to the player who most recently gave them to Esmond. This is covered in rule 800.4a. Notably, this makes Blim very dangerous for its owner if they cause an opponent to die to a card like Immortal Coil or Forbidden Crypt, because they will regain control of them. This only applies to donated permanents and is distinct from if a permanent directly enters under the losing player's control, e.g. if you stole a card from your opponent and cast it, reanimated it from their graveyard, or it entered under your control, etc. 800.4a When a player leaves the game, all objects (see rule 109) owned by that player leave the game and any effects which give that player control of any objects or players end. Then, if that player controlled any objects on the stack not represented by cards, those objects cease to exist. Then, if there are any objects still controlled by that player, those objects are exiled. This is not a state-based action. It happens as soon as the player leaves the game. If the player who left the game had priority at the time they left, priority passes to the next player in turn order who’s still in the game.

Why does the camera have a glowy yellow effect to the screen , I noticed in ba precious video as well. Also....mathew.....hilarious as always
