This technically isn't a S6 episode. It's the Christmas Special. It was originally released back in the day along with the DVD collection of the first 6 seasons. It takes place between season 5 and 6. You can tell because Mac goes back to his Mom's house to dig through the closet for old presents. But Mrs. Mac burned her house down in S6.

Yep. It was produced during season 5. That’s why it isn’t in HD. Season 5 was the first season they did widescreen, but didn’t film in HD for some reason. They just held the episode until season 6 to sell DVDs of the special. That’s also why they were allowed to drop f bombs for the episode since it went straight to DVD.

This was filmed during Season 5, which is why Macs mom isn’t living with Charlie’s mom. It was a DVD special and didn’t air on TV until later. No idea why they air it at the end of Season 6 on streaming

So this episode didn't air with the regular season. It's the closes its always sunny have been to a movie, and comes as a special dvd by itself oppose to being included with the season. This is why it notably has a higher budget and the freedom to be more violent and swear, e.g dennis saying the f work twice towards frank near the end. It's also why there is no point in this episode where you would logically split it into two parts. It's a xmas tradition of mine to watch each year and has become my favourite xmas viewing tradition.

Thank you guy on the far left for always, consistently throughout this series, making sure that everyone stays on point when a scene or what little plot Sunny has gets a bit confusing. Your expertise since having seen the show before are appreciated as an audience member that doesn't like seeing reactors be confused about one of my beloved pieces of media and perhaps misses a joke or two. Furthermore, I, too, am always the first to get all the jokes in a TV show I've already seen before and laugh loudly to signal to others that this is a funny part. Very relatable! But then I realized it actually gets in the way of people actually watching the show for the first time (nothing major, let's not be dramatic here, but it does) so I toned it down

Bro I have suggested the Normies visit a neurologist. And I'm not beimg cynical on the matter. It's genuine concern. They are too young to have some of these issues. Not just them but millennials I notice have shorter attention spans and less of ability to recall details of events. It may be the effect of growing up with the internet and social media where information is readily available so we don't develop our minds for memorization I mean I see people struggle to remember phone numbers without the aid of their smartphone. Just like my father used to laugh when I had to reach for a calculator. The experts were right about us becoming so reliant on technology.😢

I was rewatching first eye witnesses reports of JFK assassination (I guess they comparing it to the attempt on Trump) and the amount of detail those witnesses were giving is just mind blowing compared to eye witness reports today. i mean estimates of length and height, eye color, shapes, etc. Attention to detail was just incredible.
