Merry Christmas, Mr.Lawrence by koto (Furyo) - Tribute to Ryuichi Sakamoto

I love this tune since I was 14 years when I watched this film in the cinema of Tokyo. I’ve read the originale story of this film by Lawrens van der Post, this is also very beautiful novel. This film gives me lots of things even today…
Music of Ryuichi Sakamoto of this period (1978-1986) is very difficult to realize by acoustic instruments, I think. Some of his compositions for Yellow Magic Orchestra, too (One day I tried « Thousand knives » by koto but I gave it up).
Finally I find that the best way to play this beautiful melody is to play by good synthesizer…!

@@kotomieko yes! i can read japanese scores and western scores but the japanese ones are easier for me to read
