I came to say this same thing, and share my sentiment and sympathies for those on that airplane and their loved ones on the ground. Amazingly there are reports that some survived the crash - which is nothing short of miraculous.

The plane was damaged by anti-air defenses during a drone attack in Grozny happening that day. You can see shrapnel holes in the pictures inside the plane as well as outside on the tail section. It's lucky anyone survived at all.

@@daviddeavours4909 i have heard that 25 survived and 22 were directed to a hospital. I love that you're a former car enthusiast. Can you tell me why you lost your enthusiasm for cars? In my case, it was the channel "Not Just Bikes".
@imvivalamilo26 күн бұрын
@ It’s all because of the car community. It’s extremely toxic, a frightening percentage of people condone reckless driving, nobody is willing to give EVs a try, etc. I still somewhat like cars but I only really like Volvos, but I like everything Volvo does. The car community has made it clear that it doesn’t want to evolve, change and adapt, so it’s going to die soon anyway.
@MrRedstoner25 күн бұрын
@@lgabss187 As a fan of both cars and NJB, I don't think the 2 actually contradict each other. Getting unnecessary commuters off the roads is a good thing for a car enthusiast, in my opinion. I enjoy the fact that I can take public transit when I just need to get somewhere, and go for a drive when I just want to have fun.

I started watching @MentourPilot in 2018, it was around the time I had multiple flights into Stockholm and Dublin then back to India and back then I wasn’t necessarily a nervous flyer but I would be ‘irrationally excited’ about the phases of my flights. Since watching Mentour regularly I don’t even think of flying as anything other than a normal transport. What I love as an ‘Engineer by schooling’ is that rewatching accident videos I always pick up more systems details, for example the acme jack screw assembly Alaska Airlines video made me curious about all types of nuts, joints, preloading nuts…but not just in a fragmented sort of way- in-fact in a manner that makes it something I can integrate into both work and ad hoc adventures with python. I am currently writing a blog on raw material optimisation with integer constraints and watching that video not only made me a bit more aware of that assembly, when it comes to finishing my blog, it made me “Go oriented” or “Go minded” to take a cue from aviation ops.

Happy Christmas to all from England! Re your videos : the more I see of cockpit processes etc, the more I realise that the rapidly advancing AI technology could - and should - by used to reduce risks and workload. This applies to light aircraft too, where the instruments etc are simpler .. but the pilots are often untrained / inexperienced.
