My first introduction to opera was at the Opera House in Vienna and came a pre-Christmas tradition. Vienna is so full of culture, opera, ballet, music, museums and galleries. I’ve seen the Christmas market very crowded, you went at the best time as you could see everything. Thank you for inviting us all along to you Christmas. 🎄

Oh my, I can smell the pine trees when I close my eyes. I will always remember being with my half sister's husband (brother-in-law who is 20 years my sr.), little brother & father when we went to the tree farm to cut down our own Christmas tree...... this past xmas was my saddest since all my people are now gone. Seeing your family having the best time during xmass (also my favorite family time holiday) is bittersweet, I'm so happy for you, Peppe and your 2 girls are enjoying this special time with your family. Time is the most precious gift a person has, and to squander it away is a waste, family time is the most important thing one can give to each other and in the end.... it is all that matters. I miss my mum and dad so much and my mum sadly died on Boxing Day 2014 - and dad 2 years after her - he struggled to be without her - I find Christmas a very sad time nowdays - which is a shame - but part of life ❤

Oh how I miss my mother making dozens and dozens of different kinds of cookies for Christmas. We now know the sugar is not as good for us so we just don't make them so we don't eat them. I am so glad that you introduced your children to their family, heritage, other countries and old traditions.

That's a very beautiful old world building. I believe these buildings were constructed by people with far more knowledge than we have today and are a bit older than the dates given... the dates and architects given are regarding the renovations and repurposing of the buildings. So many beautiful buildings in Vienna.. it's worthwhile looking into where these buildings really came from... because they are from a time of much more granduer and excellence.
