519) MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! in this fun video, I talk about hearing Christmas music full time the day after Halloween. When is it too early to play the Christmas music?? Sometimes it feels like November, and it's Holidays, are just skipped right over!! Another fun little ride on the VStrom, just rambling away... I hope everyone has a great holiday season, and just FYI, I listened to some of that Christmas music at the beginning of November.....

@Motoramblings Thanks Patrick. The Spirit of Christmas was originally a Ray Charles song and this Christian band ( The Sidewalk Properts) has done a remake. I actually like their version over Ray's version. Yes, I have a thumb drive loaded with Christmas songs in my car. I'll plug it in time to time. Here's to a Happy and prosperous New Year to you.

When I see accidents like that, I think ... Geez! had I left the house earlier would that Semi had taken me out? Enjoy your time in Floriday with your mom, when your parents are gone it creates a void that never gets filled. One of those life lessons we don't comprehend until they are gone. I wish I had back all the times I said I'll go over some other day, I'm tired, I'm this or that, life is precious.

I think we all look back at the times we didn’t do something, like spend more time with our parents. That whole, “life gets in the way thing”, I guess all we can do is try to make sure we don’t have any more similar regrets as we keep aging. The music doesn't bother me as much anymore because I rarely listen to the radio as I listen the Spotify. I also can drive hours with no music or sound so when I do want to listen to Christmas music I listen to it through Spotify and pick and choose. Little drummer boy is one of my big favorites as well.

I'm incredibly old, but I grew up in a time where Christmas was not in stores until the day after Thanksgiving, seeing Christmas items in stores before that is a turn off for me and only shows the corporate greed. I like the WW2 era Christmas music, it seems to have more purity to it, Charlie Brown Christmas music only because I'm a Charlie Brown look alike 🤣😂

I can only speak for myself, Christmas music has to be in limited small doses. Definitely should not start before Thanksgiving and as far as I am concerned, it can be cut off on Dec 26th. But that is just for me.
