My Opinion On This Cover: Honestly this is an actual amazing cover. (Best Cover Of Any Song) I love how it sounds eerie in a sort of way, and the way that they made it sound rough but a smooth melody at the same time, this is just beautiful. However THIS IS NOT BETTER THAN THE ORGINAL. I feel that the original sounds more smooth and more relaxing. The original just gives me a sense of nostalgia and keeps me calm (For those who don't know the ORIGINAL song was composed by Joe Hisaishi, and was made for the film Howls Moving Castle, which is a great movie if you haven't watched it) I am not hating on this cover nor creator, I just wanted to share my opinions and hope people share the same idea.

Both version do what they’re trying to do amazingly, and honestly I don’t feel that it is fair to compare the two despite this cover’s obvious inspiration. The original spawns a wonder of the mundane in me, the simply fact that life in itself should be cherished. This cover, however, inspires a sort of dread, the dread of a dying world abandoned by its god. The final note to an era that will not be followed up. A declaration of existence before that existence is completely stripped away. I love this cover, and I love the original.

For those of you who might not know.. Howls Moving Castle was actually a book before it was a movie. It was written by Diana Wynne Jones and it was written in the 80s. The book is VERY different from the movie, but it’s still SUPER GOOD. 10/10 would recommend, helps if you want a different perspective of the characters ily ❤❤❤

What this song represents to me is calmness because it indicates a theme close to the day we die, where we finally enter a new part of our life, without confusion of who created us. The angel came to meet us. While we feared him, we knew the truth will no longer be hidden from us. Sadness in finally knowing the truth and losing all meaning we gave to ourself but happiness in finally having no confusion.
