It's not so hard. All you have to do is get a few lessons, then learn to play with both hands. Some Yamaha pianos come with an instructional book on the basics. I got a cheap 200 buck piano and i'm getting there.

This makes me remember the times when I was homeless in Germany. A kind gentleman who I never met before let me stay a night by his home when I was sitting alone in the corner of bus station. He was practicing this song, although fluently. Although it has been years, I still wish I was his wife. When I got my life back on my feet, I bought violin and began practicing it ever since. Imagining of playing in duo with him. Edit: To everyone's disappointment sadly, we never got together, both of us found really good companions for ourselves by now. I had before very bad experiences from long distance relationships, so I didn't want him to undergo such stress when he has such talent in music and works a decent job.

As a young child, I used to relax and lie down under a baby grand piano and listen to the classical music being played by my mother. It's a strange place to listen to piano music from but--the sound coming from underneath the instrument is very different from what you would hear topside. I only regret that, now that I'm an adult, I'm not able to do that anymore. If you ever get the chance to experience this, do so because you won't regret it!

I know this might sound sad but what if i make it more dramatic? So, her first owner was died and she try to found a new pianist to help her. She was actually a pianist that get caught with curse by wandering witch that doesn't like her song and choose to put a curse that won't gone until she have an apprentice that can make a good song for the witch. She trying to find a good pianist but there is not enough people in her village until she found a little kid that interested in piano, she give her first owner piano to him. And teach him to became a great pianist. Turn out the cure was a lie, and she can never become a human again. However she can't die either. So she prefer to keep an eye at his apprentice. And at the current time, here she is, taking a nap at her apprentice piano whenever he play a song :)

I also wanna make my own version of your plot!! What if the cat used to be a very famous pianist but her vice was that she was very selfish and didn’t care about others, just about music and performing, but not other people. So one day she is told by some old lady (who is a witch) that she gotta be more humble but she doesn’t care and as she leaves the building she gets into a vehicle accident and she awakes as a cat and therefore cannot perform her passion, the piano. She is upset until she gets found by a boy and taken to his home. She was about to escape when she realized he had an old piano that was his grandfathers and the family kept it for sentimental reasons but never used it. The cat was overjoyed and played a little and the boy was surprised, he had no one to teach him before, but now, this cat could! The child becomes a teen and the cat taught him through the years and has him going to competitions. The cat has learned to be humble, but it isn’t until the boy wins all the competitions that she can truly be set free from the curse. Also the boy only had an abusive dad cuz his mom died so when the cat turned back she decided to adopt him. Then they lived happily ever after playing and learning music the end.

I'm wondering if this cat has hearing problems. At that distance, the sound levels are painful to the human ear, I doubt it's any different for a cat : "it really depends on the cat, but any continuous loud noise will most likely damage their ears and most wont like it." You may not have the impression, but you can easely go over a 100 dB with a piano. I hope that cat wasn't drugged.

@@Victor-ze3sd you cannot "easily" go over 100db with an upright piano. if you're slamming on the keys you'll hit around 80db on wood floors, and you can drastically reduce that with a small carpet under your piano. and the second half of the video you can see both the cats fully lucid and alert and enjoying the hammering.

@@Victor-ze3sd While you do have a right to worry about the cat's hearing ((not because of the db but because cats have extremely sensitive hearing)), the cats clearly aren't drugged as well as seemed to have gotten themselves used to the piano at such a close range that it no longer is an issue.

@@Artist_Hope ​ @Artist_Hope If you look it up, prolonged sound over 70db is bad for a cat (db is to measure the power of the sound), here, it's probably arround 90 or more at the louder parts which would damage a cats' ears. So this cat either has hearing problems (maybe from the consistent loud playing or just naturally) or was drugged, there is no "getting used to", there is getting ear dammage. I often play the piano and with the cover closed, if I play dynamic songs a little loud, I start to get discomfort in my ears, and that is with my head 2ft away from the actual piano that is closed. I've alread put my head closer to the strings, the sound levels are unbearable if you play a song, even the more for a cat. I've never asked nor expected nor wanted a reply to my comment for such an obvious thing for which I already know the answer. Maybe trying to guess how that cat is "able" to sustain those high levels would be the only question I have, but you nor anyone else can have the answer to that.
