One small but very important detail that many people misses here. Notice how Robin call all of them by names now. Before the "I want to live" moment, Robin used to call them by nicknames such as captain, cook, navigator, doctor, etc. She did it because she wanted to avoid to get too attached to them because she thought that they would also abandon her in the future. Now, she call them by their names, because she finally understood that they are her family now and they will never leave her. She accepted them with all her heart and she acepted herself as a straw-hat member.

For me its not just that it's incredibly emotional that gets me crying but just how good the writing is period. It truly seems like Oda wrote himself into a corner and a lesser writer would save them with a deus ex machina but The Merry saving them was so perfectly foreshadowed but left out of the picture just long enough for the audience to forget about her. Just incredible. One of my favorite moments in fiction ever.

About Robin making a very long bridge even if she does, the gap is still may too far, to be able to make a long bridge she needs to connect her arms to make a long rope but will just fall of like dangling rope as it's not fast enough to reach the other side

The whole escape sequence is so cool,the way everyone plays a part, with Sanji closing the gate,Nami navigating the whirlpool and Franky giving them the final push. Also not to be a shipper but when Franky catches Robin? And they look at each other for like a second? And she puts her hand on his chest? Frobin confirmed. Now for One Piece at a time: Last time a made a mistake that somebody else pointed out,Captain Sharinguru does show up in the anime he is in 310,he was the guy with the cap and gogles,but for whatever reason his powers are not shown.

Yeah, it is indeed supposed to be a monumental thing but that's only to hype up the SHs even more. In a way, the worse it is, the more focused on a tiny group of people it would be. The SHs are the ones who shot the flag and declared war, ultimately they're the ones who should be blamed for everything and there's no amount of small fries being blamed and captured that would help the WG save face here.

I totally get Lindsay's reasoning. It's kinda the same reason why Kamoshida in Persona 5 was one of the most horrible villains in the whole game, because it needed to get the player on board with the idea of killing someone, and Spandam is very similar in that regard in that he's just such purely horrible scum with zero redeeming qualities that killing him for real feels like something we'd get away with, compared to the villains that have cool or good sides :)

It's a small thing, but I like how Luffy doesn't consider what he and crew did at Enies Lobby (burning through the World Government's flag, defeating CP9, etc) to be a big deal. As he said, as far as he's concerned, all they did was take back a friend that was taken from them. Luffy has a lot of pride and confidence in himself and his crew, but he's not a braggart, even when he arguably deserves to brag.
