I really think they set him up for his MCU with his brother Daniel’s death. Something I would think would be funny is that Jericho is like a younger Doctor Strange and during Jericho’s training Stephan gets a “is this what ancient one has to deal with training me!?” Since Jericho would have the same personality Stephan once had. Their interactions would be PRICELESS

he did take steven's place for a bit. which was a little odd to me because depending on who wrote him they sometimes leaned hard into Voodoo being unique to what dr strange does. still a great character though. I'd love to see tv series with a darker take on the mcu (like the old daredevil one) but with the current run i'm not sure that'll happen.

Not to be too critical, Brother Voodoo (not Doctor) was never given a real chance to succeed as his own character. While I appreciate that he's actually being utilized, it took becoming the Doctor Strange Jr for him get him any regular use, much like Falcon. I prefer both on their original terms. Great video though as usual.

Please do more slightly obscure and lesser known marvel Characters, learning about the history of popular marvel faces and known characters is nice and all but learning about characters with such a deep and intriguing history that I would know nothing about otherwise with my limited access to comics, especially older comics is just fascinating.

I like the story, but there Has to be a slight change for it to make sense and not be offensive. If they can change the whole Role of Damballa, because he’s a high level role God or spirt, it’s like Hercules having a bid with Zeus there’s no matchup in that instead, he should be having his antagonist be against a demigod, like a werewolf or vampire. Those characteristics would be more of a villain for the African spiritual system in this comic
