He was Always A Villain that Could Crack More Jokes than Spiderman. Never Fought On the Ground because he could Never Beat Spiderman From a Ground Level. Even Flying He Could Never Beat Spiderman, Always Tied Up and Left for the Police.

I always thought that the artists that drew Spider Man in the 60s and 70s had the best visual sense. Their villains looked the best and had the most style.

Ignoring the fact that this is comic books and so long as Toomes keeps selling books he'll never actually die The idea of him actually making some kind of repentance and recovery is...unlikely He is an old man, like, impossibly old. ANY prison time that he receives is going to become functionally a life sentence. Might be why he's still so committed. Most consequences he causes will logically be a far bigger problem AFTER his death
