The Briliance, Intelligence, Elegance, - she is Meryl Streep. Hollywood is so lucky to have a very good actress like her. And I feel blessed as a Filipina that I was able to watched most of her movies. Watching all her interviews made me more amazed the real Meryl Streep. A living legend, indeed. I am a huge fan by heart. I love Meryl Streep very much.

That would be an "Ideal Solution" to those young actresses trying to get on stage or movies. It would be like her giving back. Perhaps she doesn't feel she needs to at this time - however, I think it won't be long before she does.

What an absolute delight, she is so down to earth I don't get why some of the audience laughed when she said that Betty Davis was only 40 years old when she made the movie All About Eve and her career was considered almost over. Is a good thing that times are changing and that actresses careers are not considered over when they reach their 60s, 70s, even 80s.

Martial arts are arts and so is football how dare you judge for what they take as art and with that goodday
@JP-lr8rr7 жыл бұрын
The Hollywood elite is to us (and we are to them) the way the aristocrats of the past have been to the everyday people. We're the pleb to them. They're above us, and yet we praise them so much as if they ... I don't know man, it's just sad.
@thebuffalo22637 жыл бұрын
Dick Grayson I feel so bad for you...NO one can tell anyone what art is. A guy throwing a ball with pin point accuracy is art. An actor playing a dramatic scene is art. And if no one will care then why have martial ARTS been around for thousands of years??? Why is baseball still popular after being invented on the 1800s? You should learn to love and not hate on whatever people see as art. As long as it isn't hurting someone or making someone feel less like a human. Good luck in life, I hope you change your negative outlook on this.
@Kalim43217 жыл бұрын
is not art...he is a trained guy programmed to do that and be famous for 1 thing which he will be forgotten about in 4 years...they are big but short lived

MMA is about strength, courage, endurance, being quickwitted and strong-willed. It's not "ze artz", but it's not a joke for monkeys. Actually you don't seem to like it so the first monkey I've met is already against it. Probably isn't for monkeys after all. Sport can be art, but it is closer related to warfare, to fitness, and even to maths. It takes speed, endurance, a plan, quick wit (again), even intelligence - but when people like you with very mediocre intelligence look at a game they can not discern what is happening. YOU don't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there.

As long as she don't talk politics, she's good. But since happens "the golden-thing", she drops in many fans favors.
@blue3katrin7 жыл бұрын
Trump is literally a reality TV star who entered politics. Even before entering the presidential race he bullied the former president into showing his birth certificate - were you equally appalled by that? Why is that okay but an actress who actually participates in thought-provoking storytelling can't have an opinion on Trump?
@edwardhitten26787 жыл бұрын
Because she points out a small portion of the all picture, and she's wrong: he never mocks an "handicaped" journalist. Search for the original material and you'll find out yourself. This guy had a malformed hand but didn't speak like a trisomic. Trump often mocks embarrased people who tried to attacks him but who can't answer a simple question. - Politics is more concrete than nice principles. Often people think about values but forget that ruling a country is very complicated, it involves negociation, strategies, many aspects of life: economy, health, infrastructure, defense, foreign relations with very different people, etc. When we take all that in account, we surely keep in mind human principles but sometimes, what appears not nice is the right thing to do on the long run. Did you give your children candies everytime they asked for? Same thing, politics is for adults who knows to take hard decision for the better good. Journalists are not exception, they fall in that trap too, so we need to be more celever than media parrots. - Trump is not perfect, yes, but we need to point out what it IS. Only a common truth will bring things right. Not personal opinions.

Pointless whitewashing Trump. Anyone who voted for him should forfeit their citizenship. Meryl was courageous enough to take her responsibility as a citizen and remind those people what that means.

I respect Meryl Streep’s acting ability, but I abhor her elitist attitude. He sanctimonious rant against middle-class Americans turned me off and I will never again watch a movie she is in where she has top billing. And that goes for any other Hollyweird type that try to impose their out of touch values on me.
@kkpenney4442 жыл бұрын
Oh, spare us. Her 'rant' had nothing to do with middile-class Americans but everything to do with a pathologically lying, un-American malignant narcissist being in our White House. You're the one hopelessly out of touch.
@301rs2 жыл бұрын
@@kkpenney444 . Oh you must mean dementia joe? Yeah, I have to agree with you on that one point, however, that doesn’t change that she is an elitist puppet of hollyweird and is out of touch with most Americans.
