Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show. Since Corden took the reigns as host in March 2015, he has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, such as Carpool Karaoke."

I bet they were beautifully made, and she put the same kind of attention to detail and perfection that she does with her acting. Can you imagine what one of those sweaters would sell for on eBay?

@@illyriumus2938 THAT'S for sure! If he gave it to Goodwill, you know he's kicking himself now. Funny, I've made so many shirts for boyfriends and family in the past when I worked as a professional tailor. Last year, two different ex-boyfriends (yeah, I was kind of a hoe!) from the 80s sent me messages with a photo of shirts I made that they kept! I was so touched and honored, especially when Bill told me his son wears that loud shirt with the dinosaur print. His son is a sweetheart, he's confined to a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy so if that tacky shirt makes him smile, that makes me very happy. I should have hung on to Bill, he's a wonderful man and 100 times better than the guy I dumped him for. I was an idiot, but I'm glad Bill found a girl who was much better than me, and she treats him like the Prince he is.

@@LazyIRanch The self-reflection you made right now shows nothing else other than you were and are a wonder lady . A lady, just like many of us, who loves and cares about people and men in particular and does not shy away from sharing her feelings. The fact that your former boyfriends still kept those special shirts is a testimony to that! Happy holidays lovely lady! You made me smile! And hope, Billy and his family are also happy and full of wonderful memories.

I didn't knit, but I was an avid sewist. I made many shirts for several boyfriends, but only the love of my life got a custom 3-piece suit made by me! I was working on my wedding dress when Bert died. I should have quit romance right then and there; although I eventually married someone else, he just wasn't Bert.

Yes. It was enjoyable, but misleading. Specificity would have helped. I learned to sew when I was five. Thankfully, my mother was not one to care about gender roles. Then came knitting, embroidery, crewelwork, quilting, patchwork, weaving, macrame, cloth dolls with wardrobes, tatting, crochet, beadwork, trapunto, and counted cross-stitch. I made the suit I wore to senior prom, including a French-seamed shirt with three-button cuffs and the tie. All of this at a time when men who engaged in the needle arts were not well accepted. After a hiatus of more than 30 years due to establishing myself in my career, for my first return to sewing, I made a ballgown of acid green silk with an overskirt of black figured net with an organza crinoline in black for the 16-inch Gene fashion doll given to me by my mother. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed it. Now I have an embroidery machine, a regular sewing machine, and a serger, along with four six-drawer chest organizers filled with a huge variety of supplies for the 15+ fashion dolls I have collected. I am currently working on a red satin mermaid dress with black beaded embroidery for a Barbie. Doll clothes are more fun than people clothes because you can create designs that are not practical in real life. "Idle hands are the devil's workshop" was a main theme in my upbringing. Sorry for the long response recounting my memories.

How dare you not stretch a day to 48 hours??!!! Unfortunately, not much has changed and there are many of us out there, working full time, managing kids and house chores and left with taking 3-4 hours of sleep each night, sinking with worries, unbearable stress and guilt. Each of us trying out best I guess :(. Stay safe and healthy!

Girl, you know how big my closet was in 1967? Yours had to be enormous. That's a big bag. And I never ever had time to knit, crochet or sew. You were one of those overacheivers who had all the answers when you got called upon, homework done on time. I just know it. I was a late bloomer, and in college not high school. Class of 67.

I found some things like that. And my grandmother's book from 1906. My women in American history professor made a copy of that in the 80's. Yes we were relegated to housekeeping and making sure the man of the family was comfy. I never got an erector set either. That was a boys gift. Mohair rocked. Had a few of those sweaters in the 60's. In my hs grad pic I was wearing one as were most of my female classmates.

And I became a female accountant in the 70's. Never worked from home. Rarely got a raise, respect, treated equally. And never made as much as a man doing the same thing. We were nurses or teachers in the 1800's thru the 1960's, 70's. Go millennial and x generation girls "you've come a long way baby ". Virginia Slims commercial 70's. You can have equality in the eyes of the constitution soon. I'm rooting for you.
