Can anyone tell me if this pedal is "noisy" at mid to higher gain? I want this pedal but Ive been spoiled by my Strymon RIverside's built in noise gate. Playing a Schecter USA PT through a Mesa California Tweed with the Riverside for higher gain stuff and a Wampler Tumnus for low-mid gain tones. Thoughts?

I own this pedal. I would say it is very picky as to what pickups are used to get a good tone. Overall, I don't really like it. And it is very very middy.
