I am tempted to pick up a Cleo to run on the clean channel of my jp2c for low/mid gain tones. I wonder how the Cleo would do with a fuzz in front of it such as a muff?

Man, that could be very cool. I use a Fuzz on the clean channel of my amps at times. I haven’t used it in conjunction with another drive or boost. But, I bet you could dial in a multitude of very cool tones

Can I Use this only as a clean boost?

What’s the difference between this pedal and the grid slammer or tone burst?? What is better for boosting the front end of a dual rec or triple crown?

The Tones on all of them are great. There is something magical about the Cleo. And, it’s very versatile. Getting a clean boost out of it is very easy. And, you have the options of some very nice gain to add in. I’ve found that the Cleo may have more and more dynamic headroom than the other pedal. I have a Tone Burst and I love it. But, the Cleo had been a staple on my board since I got it.
