I bought a Mesa 2, 40# from 3Rives Archery 3 weeks ago. I shoot almost every day. The beautiful look made me happy, and it looked light and solid. BareBow has a big appeal.

I purchased one of these about 5 weeks ago. Have shot it practically every day and I love it! It looks good with out being flashy. Great value from 3 Rivers Archery

"Duplicate...181..." Hahaha...great talking to you at ETAR Johnathan. You made my day when you said that for me...LOL! Got home and the new string for my Mesa II had arrived...just need to get my shafts lined up.

I'm having a tough time deciding between a 60" Mesa, a mesa 2, and a bodnik bow. I don't think I can afford the quick stick . I like a medium- smaller handgrip, and I like lightness. I've been shooting an old Browning cobra so I have no real problem with a deep grip, I just prefer less mass. Would you say they're roughly similar enough that it comes down to stylistic preferences? Might it come down to if I want to get more bows sooner or if I want to invest in one? I've never shot a R/D bow, let alone with or without carbon. Heck I guess I've only shot maple and glass recurves. I'm looking to shoot 55# at 9-11 gpp, 28.5" draw if that makes much difference. For fun and elk stalking. Thanks.

I just bought one, your welcome...

I just got mine yesterday. Mine is 50# at 28”. Beautiful bow! WHAT SIZE ARROWS DO YOU RECOMMEND? I’ve been shooting a 59 Kodiak, with Gold Tip 400 Trad. But switching over to a longbow, with a shelf that’s not cut all the way to center might change things. What do you recommend?
@3RiversArchery2 жыл бұрын
I would start with the arrows you have. Would need to know more about them before saying if they would or not work, but the Mesa 2 would stack up well against the 59 Kodiak for arrow selection (in general).

Any chance you will ever have this bow in stock on your website
@3RiversArchery4 жыл бұрын
Hope to keep a steady supply, but international shipments are not very predictable in normal times. This year... just at the mercy of the system. We do have a back in stock alert email though. Make the selections on the product page and a field will appear where you can sign up to know when it is in stock.

Is this bow recommended with a 30" draw for hunting or would the Old Mesa be better?
@3RiversArchery3 жыл бұрын
A longer bow would shoot smoother, and less finger pinch, at at 30" draw. The 64" Mesa longbow would be a great fit.

What is the recommended brace hieght for this bow
@3RiversArchery4 жыл бұрын
We recommend 7.5" to 8" for best performance.

Are you ever going to have these back in stock ? Or should I just move on ? It's been 3 months

We are trying. Hoping to see them soon, to early December. A slow process that has been slower due to covid.

Is the shelf cut to center??
@3RiversArchery4 жыл бұрын
No, it is cut just before center. No "set" amount, but I'd say 1/8" approximately.

I have a 31in draw, what's the max draw on this bow
@3RiversArchery Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't recommend it for this bow. I'd personally say a 30" is max for it, with shorter draw length being better for shooting feel.

What kind of warranty comes with this bow?
@3RiversArchery4 жыл бұрын
While there isn't a manufacturer warranty for this bow, 3Rivers Archery will cover any manufacturer defects for 90 days. These are really great bows, however, so you aren't likely to run into any problems.

Curious what a #45 bow would gain at 29in draw?
@3RiversArchery4 жыл бұрын
You get an estimate of 2-3# per inch in pull going either direction. So a 45# @ 28" would be 47# @ 29".

Is this Mesa II cut to center or past center? Thanks

The Mesa II is cut before center.

I was ready to toss this in the cart and I find out you discontinued it. :( Curious as to the reason, seems like a winner to me.

Well, the good news is we decided to reorder them again so they should be here in several weeks (hard to say with being an import item).

You can't show the group ??
@3RiversArchery3 жыл бұрын
We shot the same arrow three times. So their is no group to show. Also, being on a shooting machine the group would be incredibly tight anyways.
