Phew this was such a smokin band she had together. I love everything she's done but man I'd love to see her get this band or some of the cats from the band before this together again. Hoping some of them are on the new album she's about to drop. Her first 2 albums especially are some of the greatest funk, soul, hip hop records ever recorded!! I still listen to Plantation lullabies and Peace beyond passion whenever I need a boost of funk and happiness. Heavy topics on them but they're still so joyful!!!

Uh, no, derp. She's still making music, people still love her work. You don't see or hear her because we're a "social media"-dominated world now in which our entertainment is dominated by music produced by algorithms, most of which is touched in some way by a relatively small component of producers.
