So yeah they're awesome to us because they were the first big national sign band we ever played with got a lot of recognition since then John's not in the band no more but they change their name to Oklahoma sludge self-inflicted something like that they're pretty good man lead singer's name is Keith love to see him there in this position in real life would be fucking awesome

Well it's the Oscars so if Meshuggah contributed to a film and it was stellar then they could probably be there But yea idk if a metal score has ever been presented at an academy awards That being said, has there ever been a really good score in an grand film that has been heavy metal or mostly metal composed? 🤔🤔
@SolarScion
@SolarScion 2 жыл бұрын
No doubt the Oscars are a circlejerk, but there's generally plenty of talent on display that's better than this. I can appreciate music of most genres, including several genres of metal, but this song is about as close to "raucus, incomprehensible noise" as one gets. And coming from a guitar player, it all sounds rather simplistic.

the nuance is unbelievably obtained in this video. This is what every “non listener” of metal would be like at a performance like this, some skeptical, some along for the ride, some borderline embarrassed. And yet every time by the end of the song, all are bobbing their heads having the best time of their lives! Incredible! I don’t know if even these actors themselves could have properly embodied these characters as much as this video did for them. Bravo 👏🤌

Meshugaah always deliver, top notch... And with such an audience of hardcore meshugaah's fans, the result would have to be a gem, to keep and to cherish. They managed to beat slayer on this one, back when slayer attended this event. I m all for this dress code. Denim, leather and chains don t go along with this musical genre. And the seats... Well, this is the living proof that it is the best way to attend such an event. This music has to be appreciated while you re seated and all confy, cosy and warm. To absorb every tiny yoda of this beautiful relaxing melody and to allow yourself to embrace the most profound journey through the intrincated levels and dimensions of your inner self. I believe that only Lizzo could fill in next year's artist. She s a heavy weight in the business, metaphorically obviously. Well, I guess I can say literally as well
