...and here I was struggling to remove the alternator 45 Torx bolt that's hidden , I had spent lot of time and even the Suzuki All data service manual for the 2003 Suzuki GV don't show much , other than a simplified drawing of the belts and the pulleys , totally hopeless. Then followed a thread or two on the FB Suzuki Grand Vitara groups, some comments had suggested that I remove the air box, then struggle with the alternator. This video , regardless of no text or spoken words , is easy to follow plus do. I think that I will first obtain the crankshaft seal, don't know the part number or the seal number, once I get this, I could go to Bearings Canada or Canada Bearings, both these places had helped me previously, hence I know that they are reliable.

What did u do to prevent the engine from turning when tightening the crankshaft bolt?

I dont know if i would use an extension like he did to drive that seal in place. Perhaps using a large socket the same diameter as the seal, and then driving it in with a rubber mallet?

Горе мастер так ведь шпонка может упасть в картер, надо провернуть колено, чтобы шпонка смотрела вверх😳 и обязательно хорошо затянуть болт иначе сорвет шпонку на звезде маслонасоса и привет капремонт😂
