Straight to the point, nice details, very good review, thanks a lot! I loved the skate but one little thing I didn’t like is inside wheels are 95a, which is probably most people like it although in time outside wheels will wear down more and it will turn into banana rocker, if you rotate and swap the wheels than you have harder wheels on the outside. I heard that wheels are really quality ones from another review and probably will last longer, so I wish they came with the same hardness on all wheels from the start.

Really informative review. Brilliantly shot with clear images and angles. Lots of great detail; one suggestion would be to mention the heel lock provided within the liner (eg. j-bars/c-bars/donuts) and if this works well when the liner is laced in the boot. I know if I spent £300 on a skate that I wouldn't want to need to buy additional liners to make them lock my heel.

You used to be able to buy V cut Throne cuffs. I'm sure they would fit if you could find some. Or maybe just V cut it with a Dremel or something.

I was looking fo a proper analysis on the skate, and you delivered. Thank you good sir, well appreciated. Apparently the skate is not for me. Good that you highlighted, that the look of the skate is misleading. By looking at the photos I assumed it should fit like an Aeon, so I finaly can get an Aeon like skate but UFS. Well. no. Some say (reddit) it actually fit likes an M12. Any thoughts on that? Another question: What is the shell size? is it like 41/21,43/44,45/46... ? I know that the liner is single size but the shell is probably not.

I have skated Aeons before and the Aeon is definitely a lot wider. It's closer to an M12 fit than an Aeon fit.

Great point about peoples feet, even with intuition they give me heel pain, but fine in the toe box area. Really frustrating if I'm honest.

Skates are very particular to the individual. Some foot shapes just don't work in some shells.

I would say it's more narrow than a Razors Shift, but the toe box is more generous than the Shift.

Ooh. Both good skates. If you have a narrow foot, I would recommend the Mesmer. If you have a wider or bigger foot, I would recommend Them 909. Mesmer has a better soul plate in my opinion, but Them 909 has a more generous fit.

Possibly. Except the classic throne has a missing part at the heel, so there will be a gap there

It's not about the length, it's about the shape. I'm a size 10UK and I could fit in the size 9uk fine length-wise, but the shell was too narrow for my foot. If you have a narrow foot, you should be fine just getting your normal size.

@@stuarth8278they're both great skates. The 909 is lighter and more responsive, but the Mesmer has a much better and bigger soul plate for grinds.
