After seeing how Purple did exactly what you explained "he should go through Africa and leave a third of his material to be able to take cards in Asia", he was stream sniping for sure. Because that also explains the rest of his behavior. Not attacking certain territories when he could to take cards, having weird stand-off's with you when Blue left territories open for him to take cards, attacking Red exactly where you said too and other weird things that made no sense, even if he was a noob. He was obviously stream sniping and doing some weird moves just to see your reaction.

Twitch chat was hilarious at times. One guy asks about Pete's wiener being a weapon of mass destruction, another guy replies and calls it a weapon of ass destruction. Pete didn't notice that or chose not to respond. Either way it gave me a good laugh. 34:00 Edit: Considering the questions you got from chat and the answers you gave, this might have been one of your most valuable games, Pete. You had your revenge and you gave wonderful insights, that's a big win in my book my guy.

I feel like "Smart" is a relative term, and in this instance (talking about anxiety and depression) if you're more prone to these things you're actually exhibiting less intelligence around these areas than people that are not experiencing them, since neither are optimal for performance in this lifetime. I'd say over active thinking's are more prone to these emotions and that if they were smarter in this area they would address they're over active thoughts and live in the moment to better understand that there's no need to bring the problems of the future and the past into a felt feeling in the now, but instead use those past and future calculations as purely possible outcomes that don't need a felt response. Also, good to remember that there are positive outcomes from future thought, and not just potential problems.... balance your mind.

To the comment about wishing there was more time in the day. This is to you. You work 8 hours to live 4. You work 6 days to enjoy 1. You work 8 hours to eat in 15 minutes. You work 8 hours to sleep 5. You work all year just to take a week or two vacation, if you’re lucky. You work all your life to retire in old age and contemplate only your last breaths. Eventually you realize that life is nothing but a parody of yourself practicing your own oblivion. We have become so accustomed to material and social slavery that we no longer see the chains. Life is a short journey, live it! Not everyone is here for a meaning or a purpose. Just enjoy life.

halfway through and I am continually baffled by purple's behavior, so many opportunities to get a solid foothold in Asia to take cards and avoid the border issues but he just never does it. especially with blue opening it up by moving to east africa, 3 attacks and split and that was much later than he should have been offered any out for how he played.

Even though that game didn't go as planned for you, the content was really compelling. Love it when you talk about these things (mental health, philosophical questions or just life in general). Really have to catch a stream of yours cause these topics and your perspective on them are really interesting. Maybe you wasted an hour in risk, but nonetheless you make it engaging to watch. (also that game was a fever dream, happy I'm just watching it xD) It's not only a good show because of the gameplay, your commentary is AT LEAST 50%! It is a good show as long as you keep speaking from your heart! Keep it up!

You almost had it. I've gotta say you were so so so close, in this three player endgame not breaking either player was probably optimal. One of them might have suicided you anyway but the likelihood would've been lower. Simply sitting in Australia and turtling up, potentially even card skipping was how I would've played it. Good work though, thanks for all your content :)

@@FreePete It was a perfect game for bounties, I love that your thoughts always go back to progressive Risk. I think that really is your homeground. On a side note, I finally made it to Grandmaster playing only caps. Gotta say, reaching Grandmaster in Fixed was a lot less time consuming. I think I've learnt a lot playing so many games of caps and I'm glad you started me on that journey with your Europe Advanced settings :)

So...I've only been playing the FFA of Risk for a few months. I saw erratic play on Purple's part. And I can't say I saw a strategic reason that made sense for any player, other than Blue. But, I don't understand how you can call any of what purple or pink or red did be cheating. Maybe I missed something. By and large, what we might consider a stupid play, they may lack the experience to understand what they might have done for a better move.
@FreePete
@FreePete 11 ай бұрын
What purple did that was cheating was watch the stream and react when I said things about them. I'm not high confidence on anyone else in the game cheating. I think everyone else just played badly. I am very high confidence that purple was sniping.

1:05:30 KP lamenting having wasted time and having a bad show because of cheaters and such... but putting another spin on that: I think this adds to the overall KPS show because it shows us mere mortals the good, bad and ugly of the game - and how to deal with it (and shows the reporting tools etc) and also how to identify such play... but then it also makes the really good games that much more enjoyable, because they are not guaranteed to happen - its nice to not know what is going to happen when watching these shows : ))

To be honest I’ve had a few games like this lately a few times in normal classic fixed. But also in fog no alliances and caps, by round 3 one player would have 5 caps and every troop ran into me one by one. I think people are playing multiple accounts to get high win rates and maybe sell the accounts. Now that the game getting more popular, the win loss ratio will start to inflate peoples ego “oh I have an account that’s 55,0!” I can see this turning into a big issue because it’s started only a few days ago and it’s seeming to be worse.

It has never been a business that stands alone and exists as a profitable asset without continuous input from me. Not at any size with a number of employees. Not after I got rid of all of them and tried to run it solo. At this point I'm looking to get rid of the final list (the most profitable hand selected clients) and the remaining equipment and allow myself to move on from this industry. It provided and provided for a lifestyle that I am grateful for in my 20s and 30s but the idea of working a labour job into my 40s doesn't interest me. I've learned everything I care to about this industry.

Twitch has three main ways to monetize the streamer's content. Subs where a viewer buys themselves or another viewer ad free subscription to the channel for a month. Bits, which is the on-platform currency, 1 bit equals roughly 1 penny. And a very paltry share of their advertising revenue. You can also donate to most streamers directly via paypal which is the best way to support creators as long as they're set up for it.

Purple never attacked you. Purple left the border at 1 for many turns, you never moved your 24, but when he stacks the border then he's the bully? You kept 'predicting' purple's play but they never once did what you expected, but you kept repeating paranoid predictions, even though all the evidence suggested you'd be wrong. You then based your strategy on what they 'will' do, even though they never did nor likely would have. Nothing purple did seemed at all weird to me. You don't HAVE to ALWAYS play EXACTLY how the TEXTBOOK 'suggests' you play. The cavalcade of toxicity towards purple in your chat was textbook, however, textbook witch hunt. "I don't understand something, kill it now!" psychopathy. You had about a 100 troop advantage over the rest of the board, then went on a "they're cheating" bender and blew your load all over the board. And no, I wasn't purple. Or any of the other players. Just a past grandmaster who watches you and JJ every now and then. You both have this "OMG THEY'RE GOONA DO THIS SHIT AGAINST ME NEXT TURN" psychosis every 'frickin' turn, but you're both pretty good and entertaining nonetheless.
