You know, i grew up casually hearing so many bands and songs that i just did not appreciate anywhere near enough, and didnt realize it until my 30's. Sooo much music just in the 70's and 80's alone with such depth and such genius and dynamics baked in, that is soooo easy to miss, if you are just a "casual" listener. I have since repented of that sin, and now study music at a deeper level. Its like a magical force in this world, for real. 🎉

Yeah, I tend to be stuck in the music of the 70's and 80's. Of course, my age plays a big factor.

Brilliant playing to a difficult number. Loved how you added the ride bell to the main beat. Many drummers say that Stewart used to add stuff in studio and layer it on the track. Hi Vitotone! Thanks for the comment. I generally spend alot of time figuring out a song by ear. I have a fairly long commute back and forth to work so I listen to a song over and over in my car while keeping time on the steering wheel. Once I get the song tattood in my brain, I'll take it to the kit. For difficult fills, I sometimes slow the mp3 down in a sound editing program like Audacity to figure out what the drummer's doing. I don't use charts and have never taken lessons.

Brilliant, really well played Domenic. Really got all the little sounds in there.
