Thank you Fr. Clay! Yes we are in very evil times, satan is rampant, but I/we do not fear satan and his kind bcos we are protected by our Lady and all the saints. Pray for all those weak bishops (religiously) who please the world rather than God's law. The pope should conduct a sort of referendum to what we catholic of the world want. Have each dioceses have a vote. YES OR NO.

At our church we pray a “Holy Spirt prayer regarding the Synod “”. My gut tells me that it is a way to to trick our spirit & heart to accept what will come out of the synod, which I highly question the objective. We need to pray like never before. Thank you Father Clay. Our church is on shaky ground because of its leaders starting with the Marxist Pope that we have.

What is appropriate behavior for a bishop who believes that Catholic doctrine is under attack? If he believes that the Bishop of Rome is endangering the faith? At the Council of Jerusalem, presumably the model of synodal government, St. Paul did not hesitate to confront St. Peter. If he believes that the Pope’s policies are misguided, a successor to the apostles has not just the right, but the obligation to speak out. If Bishop Strickland’s criticisms were off target, other bishops had the duty to say so.

Every Bishop has the responsibility to stand for the Deposit of Faith and to defend the Faith that has come from the Apostles. Every Bishop will be judged on that by the Lord Himself…. either to Eternal Life or eternal damnation.

I've noticed that these modernists seem to enjoy using the saints to try to punish us, as the one who compared you to John the Baptist, the greatest man born of woman. They either look down their noses at you, or at the saints they compare you to (probably both), and that seems disrespectful of the good saints in Heaven at most, and unbecoming of a shepherd at least. But as you say its not really an insult to us, so now i'm left to wonder if they intend to mock the saints? I'll pray for this bishop. I hope that I'm not out of line. Happy Michaelmas, Father.
