Finding Christ in the Altar of Sacrifice of the Tabernacle of Moses

The bronze altar of sacrifice in the Tabernacle of Moses was the place where Israel could be reconciled with God. Here the people learned that it was only through the shedding of blood that the remission of sins could be made. All of these sacrifices ultimately pointed to the suffering and death of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.
This video is the second of 8 videos that will help followers of Christ better understand the importance of the Tabernacle and how it relates to the Savior. Last year with no place left to turn I prayed to God in repentance then begged for help with all my heart, "I was until then a lifelong Atheist." I then had a dream of Jesus coming before God and he spoke of the Tabernacle in perfect context, "A word I didn't know existed because I've never read the bible", and the love I felt from Jesus was unlike anything I've ever felt before - A lifetime of joy every second - It brought me to sobbing and it changed my life forever. I've had other miracles since, a few being a light turning on in answer to deeply needful prayer 6 times, seeing a orb of light hours before a major surgery, seeing an Angel in a dream the night my mother prayed for me to see one, "Without telling me", and so much more. Know that God and Jesus ARE real and that they love us deeply. Let go of your hatred and Imagine yourself holding the people who've hurt you. Tell them you love and forgive them and do your best to follow, "I've failed many times", the 10 commandments.

Thank you for these lessons so I can understand more fully about the connections to the Sacrifices in Ancient Israel and Jesus Christ's own Atonement for All the House of Israel who choose to accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ and their Savior, Himself. While I knew that there were sacrifices involving plants (specifically heads of grains and the wine/juice from grapes), one thing that stood out to me was how little the Ancient Children of Israel choose to eat meat from animals, since I knew that animals were often used as part of sacrifice. Instead, they saw the animals as precious resources for their livelihood (with regards to wool for clothing and dairy for food). Knowing how sparse animals were used for food reminded me of our Commandment in the Word of Wisdom. We are to eat meat "Sparingly" and to not waste their life. However, similar to Ancient Israelites who used animals for Sacred Rituals and Sacrifices, we have not been "forbidden" to consume meat and use animals for clothing, substance, and for helping with daily life. "...and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth." 1 Timothy 4:3 "And whoso forbiddeth to abstain from meats, that man should not eat the same, is not ordained of God." Doctrine and Covenants 49:18

WOW! It's hard to believe the producer of this channel is Mormon! This is a new movement of the individual Mormon to understand the centrality of Jesus to everything. We no longer need to make animal sacrifices on the altar, because Jesus, as the perfect lamb of God, has made the last and final sacrifice needed for the forgiveness of our sins.. When Jesus died and rose again, He offered His blood on the altar for the complete forgiveness and covering of our sins. The curtains of the Temple were split apart when Jesus entered in to make His sacrifice. This means that now we do not need priests to sacrifice animals for us.
