Always had a soft spot for these Revell late 90's Luftwaffe '46 kits. Pity they seem to never reach my corner of the world.

Love your work, had a good laugh at you 'What if'. I think the Luftwaffe post WW2 would have been interested in this one. Almost a 1950's A-10.
@snakeplissken21483 жыл бұрын
No probably not. It looks like the most usless plane ever "invented". I ask myself often who digs out this crazy ideas and pretends that they really existed on drawingboards.
@x3tc13 жыл бұрын
@@snakeplissken2148 This one did indeed exist as a proposal as an all-weather fighter. Though the version of the kit is different from the original P.1099 concepts which were planned to be armed with either 4 x 30 mm or 1 x 50 mm + 1 x 30 mm cannons. Source: Bernard & Graefe (1993).

Nice job! It would be really good if a current kit producer could retool this kit in 1/48th scale!
@burntbybrighteyes3 жыл бұрын
Technically Revell of Germany is still a "current" kit producer (Only the american branch went bust) but unfortunately they are mostly Re-releasing kits or bringing out "new" ones with molds from other companies. Apparently this year there's supposed to be a newly tooled plane from Revell(?)

Hi, just a suggestion on storing paint cans after use. Like you, I invert the can and spray for a couple of seconds, then I pull out the nozzle and put it in a jar filled with enamel thinner. With a small paint brush I put a drop of the thinner in the can opening for the nozzle, then it's ready for the next job. I have stored nozzles for years this way, no dried paint residue to interfere with spray quality. Plus, when you deplete a can, you'll have a supp;y of spare nozzles for other times, if needed. Love your videos, great model building examples, always fine models to enjoy seeing. I've learned a lot from you. Best regards and thanks.

Was this aircraft used in WW2 and if so what's with the post-war markings? I think if something is of the second world war era it would be better in the decals of the period so as it better represents that period. I have never seen this fighter before or even heard of it, so my point is it would show a bit of lesser-known history better. But I know it's your money and your model and I get it that some people may feel uncomfortable putting nazi stickers on their models. But what a fantastic looking job you have done with the paint scheme.
