In that Messi vs Ronaldo debate I don't understand why people can't see them both as brilliant players, they play great football and they play different styles, it's hard to say which one is better because they play in different positions and have different teams around them, football isn't about an individual player.

No one has played better than Suarez in the whole world this season. Missed the first 4 (or 5?) games of the season, closing in on the top EPL scorer of all time, has done so much for Liverpool, plays for Liverpool nonetheless, top goal scorer of all time for Liverpool, and just overall he has been amazing! Might even have most assists as well in the EPL (Haven't checked stats recently)

Ronaldo is the king. I'm a neutral and I can easily say he is. Why? Messi has played at the same club his entire career, starting in the Barca youth academy and making his way up. Messi has played with the same players his entire career, namely Xavi and Iniesta. Ronaldo made it through hard work. He played at Sporting CP's youth academy only from his mid-teens, which is nowhere as good as Barca's academy. Ronaldo has proven himself in England for Manchester United, for Real Madrid in Spain, and for the Portugal national team. Ronaldo also has one vital element of the game which Messi doesn't; Heading the ball. This proves the Ronaldo is an all round much better player than Messi. When Messi wins the treble, along with other numerous achievements, outside of Spain like in a league as difficult to be successful in as the Premier League, then we can discuss who is the King of Football.
