It's hidden palace zone in sonic 2 and its one of the zones that were cut from sonic 2

no it's hidden palace from sonic 2. You can play it on the mobile port or the 2013 edition, but In the original port, the song and zone were scrapped, but the song is still in the game.

As much as i remember, the classic era of Sonic games don't have the capacity to store a save with your play (except for Sonic 3 and Sonic CD). So i guess with "saves", you mean the save states from emulators right? Sorry for missing something as obvious, i just got confused for a second. Curious results nonetheless, it was cursed to hear Sonic 1 tearing apart while trying to play the Hidden Palace level song and triggering an "illegal instruction" error.

Try doing the opposite, play Sonic 2 and use Save State from Sonic 1

It appears to copy the Sonic 2 method of stopping you and letting you move after a level. This could mean Tails could be implemented!

@epicvhsguy_27correction: can, but you have to set it up precisely and manually move files around to accomplish it, which is a massive pain in the ass on android.
