OH MY GOD! I followed your recipe and I am over the moon with happiness! Deliscious is an UNDERSTATEMENT! I soaked my beans for 27 hours while I got what I needed . I HIGHKY recommend these GIGANTES! I Never even knew the world of beans existed until I changed my eating habits 7 months ago. I actually lost 50 pounds by intermittant fasting and refeeding for my gut biome. Speaking of the gut biome....of all the beans I have explored...the GIGANTES were the least gassy! Even with all the soaking and prep I do with all the beans...AND some over indulgence ( too good to not have more than one serving) i have subscribed and shared this recipe to as many people who would listen! Also....I say...just cook your own food..dont buy canned or processed...just take full responsibility for what you put in your body. I'm in America. The land of trashy ultra processed food. I'm not buying it!

I would like to know where I can get this kind of beans and what is the name
@littlelomaricafarm73025 ай бұрын
They are called Gigantes, I grew some last summer from seeds I found on Etsy. They are delicious, you could also use Royal Corona bean which is available online from various sources, they are very similar . I love the Gigantes and am growing them again this year.

Dear Diana, wonderful recipe! Thank you, I love it. However, please note that aluminum foil should not be heated due to its toxicity. It can only be used for wrapping cold dishes.
@DianeKochilas Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tip! I usually put a piece of parchment under the aluminum foil so it doesn't touch the food directly.

Everything looks fabulous! I have to watch sodium content, but do ok with 25% or so used in recipes. You learn to taste flavor without so much as once used.
