I've let two friends temporarily live at my places on different occasions, and I'm someone who absolutely values my privacy. I did it to help them out when they were in a rough place in life, and I wanted to be a friend. One I had known a number of years, good guy, but behaved pretty disrespectfully as far as not respecting my spot, and making himself right at home giving zero effort nor emanating one bit of urgency to sort his life out. Dude was just chilling like he was on vacation and in my living room playing videogames literally nonstop. So I had to politely cut that shit off because he was also a slob and had a bad attitude he about the fact someone went out of their way to house them while they figure it out. I swore I never do that again but one of my best friends I had known since we were 16 needed help a few years ago between having to leave Houston and wanting to move back to LA. I gave him the offer but nicely laid out simple rules of mostly just be cool and respectful. I let this dude happily chill at my spot for almost 3 months because he heavily appreciated the save as he didn't want to move clear across the country at his mom's hometown in Connecticut to figure it out. He was always busy sorting his situation, kept quiet, respected my privacy, I respected his, and otherwise we'd go out to chill or hang out together at my place like roommates. I work at home so it wasn't like I was out a ton and I was in a relationship with someone too. Worked out perfectly and he's working, living in the Valley where he wanted to be, and we're still close friends to this day. Letting someone live with you as a favor is a massive risk I wouldn't recommend to anyone, but once in a while it works out as long as you've known the person long enough and close enough to gauge they're going to likely be cool, know what time it is, and explicitly know they're being given a tremendous favor.

Get real, no one likes to be cheated on. Love is blind and she's probably not even with him now

Judge Mathis doesn’t listen well because he’s too busy talking. I would’ve went to Judge Judy for this case. She would’ve seen through the plaintiff’s scam!

I haven't even watched 2mins and the plaintiff irking me ..THE NERVE to bring up the defendants man issues...not her business...lady opened her house to you🤬her insecurities showed by allowing her trifling butt in her house...

I felt sorry for the defendant. This case is the reason to live alone!

It's so had to help genuine people nowadays 😓 you try to help and end up getting burnt... It begs the question, why was not even 1 extended family member was willing to help? Maternal or paternal, the answer is clear🧐

I felt really bad for the defendant.. and she was sweet enough to want to hug judgments after the case!? That plaintiff....sheesh

I have one rule that I live by, if you’re not my wife or my children or my guitars and recording studio then you won’t be moving into my house. Because I don’t need the headache of dealing with anyone else’s nonsense 😂😂😂😂😂.#OBP Bluesman

That's why they say, "Be careful who you let in your household"💯 None of this would have happened if the defendant had never opened her doors for them.
