my parents played this song in the car all the time when i was a little kid; about 18 years later, when I was 22, i was invited by my uncle to hang out at his house for a pregnancy celebration, and while i was chillin with my mom, she points at this dude that was there and said "thats the guy who sang that Cadillac song you were talking about" and wtf idk it was the singer from Mest just at a fucking cook out sitting like 10 feet away. The lyrics of this song and as a whole are so nostalgic and heavy for me it felt so strange that I ended up here. weird as hell. first question was, how the hell is my uncle friends with these punk legends, but then I realized he became the new lead singer in Zebrahead 2 years ago, and was in a pop punk band right along side these guys like 20 years ago. crazy little world.
