I like Özil a lot, the dude is an insane baller. But De Bruyne is a genius, one of the best playmakers of all time. Besides, in terms of consistency there is no comparison. De Bruyne wins!

"Germany" won the world cup because Argentina were wasteful. Özil maybe good while playing in 2010 world cup but he had no major role during 2014 world cup to play TBH. Anyways, individual performance is being talked about here.

And as I said the contribution was not "Major" even though it was there. I'm not saying that he didn't deserve to win the world cup. KDB would've been a worldcup winner if he was playing for Germany that year.

You might say that Belgium was not as strong as Germany and that's totally correct The same fact is that KDB has always played with world class strikers and wingers under Guardiola his whole career which helped him to win everything at club level and become one of the greats. What is that supposed to mean, my friend? Now which of these statements is biased? Again, I am not denying Ozil's greatness brother. He was Germany's main playmaker in the 2010 world cup and one of the best players from that tournament. But there were others in the 2014 squad who contributed more than him to the German victory. Are these not facts?

Your putting De Bruyne and Messi in the same bracket? That's crazy. You can't even put Messi in the same bracket as R9, Van Basten and other great scorers. Messi assisted more than the top scoreres and scored more than the top players with most assists. He sits alone 😏
