When I worked there, they put food out on the tables for a bit, but no one really ate it, and then either the food got taken away or everyone left first, I don't remember. But basically, there was food served, just not really consumed. Maybe some people ate, but overall, most guests pretty much zipped through the exhibit after the red carpet and then hung out with their friends, watched the musical performance, and then everyone rushed out to afterparties. What Alexa says about everyone being sans entourage and vulnerable is so true -- some people are having fun and being relaxed or partying, but some guests were also super shy and nervous, all on their own.

Host for covid19 was going through (she loves) catalogues. I said the bagginess of all the shirts was frumpy. She said it was to hide StayHome avoirdupois (an old measurement of weight). Shakespeare invented that phrase and everyone thought it was so funny it has come down through the centuries. Yeah to your final outfit top 1/4 that we can see at the end. I’d rather go to the MET Gala rather than the Oscars I think. A wild Phantom of the Opera Masquerade theatrical spectacle! I LOVED the pants suit actually. And I’m one who would LOVE a wildly gorgeous gown with a twenty foot train and bales of tulle wrapped around my face, BUT that pants suit was really, really cool on you! Daring. Chic. Love it.

If that makes you happy...OK,. Let it be....but why not invest all the money on health instead of a museum?! Never understand that....
