So real quick what is SideQuest? For those that don't know SideQuest is an application that is design for the meta quest that allows you to install non offical meta/oculus games onto your headset, Usually the games are from smaller developers who may not have approval from meta to host the games on their platform

To use the Streaming option in SideQuest what is the crop size for the MetaQuest 3?? It doesnt have an option for that yet in Sidequest, only for Quest 2 and 1.

Yes it is! It's still a massive improvement on what came before though so don't worry!

It is not. Some people like us have that problem. And it is causing a lot of confusion and misinformation. Some quest 3 have a very bad pass through than others, where the image looks extremely grainier even in perfect lighting conditions.

@@TheFunDimension You are giving false information. The pass through cameras are just effectively mobile phone cameras and there are a million reasons why some have more grain than others. 1. Natural lighting vs studio lighting vs very low light 2. People needing prescription lenses and not using them. 3. KZbinrs claiming they can read x y & z but only because they have perfect studio lighting. If you want your pass through or be clear. Let is as much light as possible

@@Vrlad I am a filmmaker, I have all the lights needed to simulate sunlight illumination, not counting we know how a camera works inside out. Something is odd with the auto camera settings for some headsets. Some headrests footage looks way better during night than others during excellent lighting conditions. Hopping that future software updates could correct the issue.

You don't use sidequest to Install APK's but you can use the method in this video I used to install sidequest to install any APK. just download an apk from the browser

Sidequest is a library of games where some aren't available through other platforms and you use sidequest to Install them. Alternatively it links you to official games on applab or the meta store
