Was really against buying one but then talked myself into it and i have zero regret, i get zero sickness, dont feel weird after playing, it charges super fast on the dock, the comfort is insane, and the visuals are so clear

Yes the zero motion sickness is a massive deal and it really surprised me how you get used to partial blockers. I have the full interface on order and I think I will prefer it without.

@@EatSleepVR same I'm a glasses wearer and eventually stopped using the side light blockers too it's super easy just to focus on what's going on and ignore it ..I was not expecting that at all I think it's because when it's completely dark a little bit of light leak is super distracting but when it's fully open it's not some how lol

@@deano6410 having the crystal clear lenses from edge to edge mixed with your face not feeling claustrophobic and hot , and also being able to look down and see your surroundings grounds you but doesn't take away from the immersion

This is my opinion but i feel like the VR headset should have a top strap so all the weight ain’t on your forehead and also i feel like being able to change out the strap is a good thing for those battery straps with better battery and stuff since i like buying accessories for my consoles

Yeah I agree I like trying new accessories as well especially head straps. I use the tiny capsule powerbanks with the quest 2 and they work well

Great initial impressions! FYI if you have the full blocker on or the cover, you can’t charge the Pro on the dock.

I did a magnetic battery pack mod that would solve this issue, because you would no longer have to charge the headset directly. It would pretty much have infinite battery power if you get two battery packs, and always keep one of the batteries on a charger. I modded a headset that my friend bought, to magnetically attach a battery to the back of the headset: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o5y0f4hnhdCpZqc I got the DeadEyeVR Head Strap on it, but am now considering replacing that strap with the VR Panda Half Circle Halo Strap. I will probably choose the more expensive "Pro" option that adds a replacement front pad.

I had the Gear VR Founders edition thingy with my Note 4 and a Gear VR thing with my Samsung S10+. I can't really afford the Pro but I bought it anyway. Not so much for games though I'm loving the games that seduced me lol ... Red Matter 2 is amazing though I still get a bit of motion sickness in that. I don't get motion sickness in VZFit ... I just received the cadence Bluetooth sensor for my DeskCycle2 and that works well. Knackered now lol. But I bought the Pro for more flexible remote working with big monitors, and collaboration tools. It's amazing. Not perfect. But no regrets.

Thanks for the comment - yes I agree red matter 2 blew me away with the graphics the first time I played it. I do suffer with motion sickness but not on Red Matter - it’s funny how it affects us all differently. 👍🏼

Resolution of the lenses is lower than quest 2? Thats nonsense, and both quest 2 and pro has pretty much equal amount of pixels. The pixel density is totally irrelevant.

Is there any good headset that you can work (3D designing and etc.) without a computer?

You could try something like gravity sketch on the Quest but if you want high end and CAD level design you would need the processing power of a desktop. PCVR? PSVR 2 is better, lighter, and much less expensive for either PS5 or gaming PC than Quest pro.

@@trumplostlol3007 PSVR2 isn't even out yet to see if someone can get it to work on a PC. Also it uses a data USB-c as opposed to a direct Display port so it's going to be a lot more difficult and need special software before it can ever be considered to act as a pcvr hmd. Btw. PSVR2 news. Pre-orders open November 15th and will be released end of January at $559 . I'll pre-order that. Quest and PSVR is all we need.

@@Art-Sin PSVR works on a PC but it is just outdated. You only need some software, kind of like a driver to map it. But not every PCVR game supports PSVR2, I suppose. So, it is not the hardware but the games that are the issues. That's why sony says PSVR2 can't play old PS4 PSVR games. Basically, it means those games need to be updated in order to be playable on PSVR 2. For individual game developer, it may not worth it.

@@ClickNDrag3D It will work; it only needs a software, just like PSVR. But I am not playing any OLD PCVR games. PS5 will have over 50 new VR games ready next year. PS5 is faster than rtx 3060 ti, so games like GT 7 VR can run on it with no problem. I don't need a PC. I will only buy a gaming PC 5 years later when PS5 becomes obsolete.
