You can also be on v68 and see seamless multitasking (at least on a Quest 2, I don't have a Quest 3). More and more updates like that seem to not actually be firmware-release-specific.

I got spatial audio, and it works perfectly, though I didn't get the Meta AI feature yet.

from what it sound in the video the spatial audio seemed to work (maybe it's just a bad perception due to the fact that my brain know where it should be located)

I hate the new universal menu .. Everything is just to small .. I know you can go full screen but the the taskbar at the bottom seems to far away, The keyboard is awful and pops up in your face. Overall I'm not impressed .. Give us a Classic option .. That would be cool.

Rolling out all the features of an update separately is so stupid. I'm surprised they don't roll out the change in the number that you see in your settings, too. "I'm on V69 now but I have to wait a few weeks for the number to go up in my settings from 68 to 69. I haven't gotten that feature yet" 😂

It’s not an issue of the Quest 3, but I have a problem in BigScreen when it comes to Bluetooth connections. IDK why but the sound is lacking and stuttering, but I have no problems when I plug in cable earphones.

I can't believe that a big company like Meta handle update roll outs so haphazardly, but everything I've encountered with the Quest has been so why should this be any different. We really need a company to come along, who know what they're doing, and show them how it's done.

No headphones needed to hear the dramatic difference in spatial audio, it's weird that wouldn't even try it without. I really hope they let us disable this on a per window basis, as it could be really distracting and annoying depending on what kind of content you are consuming, and for what purpose.

I love the new window layout but I hate how when im going into the quick settings tab then clicking settings it makes an entire new tab so I have to delete the other one the thing that also sucks is how we have to hold the bar at the bottom to move to normal app thing around instead of being able to hold it as a tape kinda it just annoys me but other than that its so fun

Something is up with your spatial audio. its VERY distinct on mine even with the stock speaker. so much so i disabled cuz i was anoyed getting audio from behind my head while doing other things. Same here i dont have the delete button. I may still be on the ptc

@@rzival I havent checked but i dont think ive seen the new theme. some features lack a few days behind for me it seems. last i tried it was with the youtube app. maybe some apps dont support it yet.

I only want a shutdown option included in the menu bar. I felt like an old-school way to shut down the new generation VR headset with the available way. Like DID WITH MY Nokia 1100 IN 2004.

I'm on quest 2 and I don't like the new update with the 3 screens and zoomed out. Is there a way to go back the old version with just one window or is this permanent?

you can close out the other windows and only have one if that's what your asking, but i believe the ability to have 3 open is permanent for everyone

Approximately 3 days ago The Meta AI stopped working and some of us also started having trouble with the controllers randomly crapping out and you have to take the batteries out and put them back in yes I already tried new batteries for the sake of the argument I've also twice gotten an error message saying the charge port has been deactivated in the software when I go to turn on the quest headset it would start making this Bing Bing Bing and the message starts flashing on the screen about the charge port has been deactivated in the software I don't know what any of these issues are being caused by first thing I noticed was The Meta AI stopped working about 3 days ago this all took place after some v68 update that I received about 3 days ago I still haven't received the 69Can't seem to find anybody talking about these issues and there's nowhere that I know of to officially report them

@@rzival Roller issue started about two or three weeks ago and it's software related. To the other stuff started more recently and i don't know where to get information about if more people are having the problem or what but it's software related whatever it is

I did got the Content-adaptive backlight control but ngl, I dont see a difference at all. Probably only works with some specific apps?

apparently it’s only noticeable in really dark scenes, kind of like a more tame version of the Quest Pro’s local dimming. I haven’t tested it myself though

nope. My quest 3 is stuck at v68 as well, I only have v69 on my Quest Pro. Meta does these slow rollouts where you kinda just have to wait until the update comes to you 😐

Someone needs to do a video about why every VR KZbinr has turned into the "let's repost Luna's tweets show". Nobody has ever tried to answer: who is Luna, and why should I take them seriously? At this point, I've been ignored for so long that I have no reason to take Luna seriously as a source. According to publicly available info, they are a rando on Twitter who popped out of nowhere.

I actually have a video on that exact topic where I interviewed Luna, because I wondered the same thing. Long story short they’re a VR enthusiast who tends to get a hold of and share leaks or certain news ahead of time, and most of them would prove true, and so their credibility just started growing. But it’s a valid comment (criticism?) on the current landscape of VR updates/news on KZbin, and that includes myself.

I dont like the new menu system, I liked one menu right in front of me, now theres 3 that open whenever I click anything. Also, Quest game optimizer is busted now, since update can't create new custom profiles since the menu screen won't scroll down. Also after update had to factory reset since it was doing endless boot loop when starting

@rzival My headset keeps saying it is updating when I power it off, but when I power it on and check the settings, it's on the same version, and nothing has changed. Is v69 suppose to be on every headset already?

@@rzival no, still can't use QGO profiles creator, but contacted the developer on reddit, he said he's flooded with messages about the same issue, and allot of problems after v69 update, but he's on vacation and will work on getting fixes when he gets home

Here for who? 69 for Quest 2 is not there yet. I hate to sand this to pieces. For some there is for others not. Either for all or for none. Hope he fixes 68 which is full of so many defects.
