@@dragonbone5000 you can view anything that would be on a browser inside a quest. For TV there’s an HDMI prototype which could be useful. It kind of depends on what you’re looking for. I’ll be doing a “what your quest can do” video soon!

What’s wrong with the resolution? Especially im in pass through the productivity apps have been working great for me. More is always better though so if they can improve on what they have I would genuinely be impressed. One thing I hope for is more processing power so we can use more powerful apps. And maybe more of a desktop feel or like with the steam deck I can switch between steam ui or go to Linux. That would be sick

I want the next update to be able to use the iPad with the spatial app. As one who likes apple products and have their ecosystem recognize the drawbacks but I think this spatial app can make the impossible possible as it is on a totally different device. I think it’d be dope if you could partition the onboard drive with another UI like you could do with bootcamp on Mac OS to boot up into windows or any OS of your choosing.

Yeah I’m a big Apple user myself. At Meta Connect they announced they would be giving developers access to bring flat android apps to quest. This will be huge! For now we’ll have to rely on HDMI

I actually thought you might have been mistaken, and expected an AI video or something about a Vision OS update. I didn't realize you literally meant VisionOS as an overlay for Quest UI. I noticed later your other video has the title "VisionOS on Quest 3?" and I think that was perfect. I only mention it because this is really cool content, and something I didn't know existed! But I nearly missed out because the title didn't make it obvious what the video was about (Or at least, my simple brain didn't understand it lol) It might be good to have the title "Vision OS on Quest 3? Now Upgraded!" or something because the question mark does a lot of heavy lifting to clear up confusion. Liked and Subbed my friend, thank you for the video! Thanks, I’ve had the app and not use since you have to use another remote app (google) and didn’t want a bunch or remote apps on my computer. No with multi mode with v69 I can use my 3 screen meta Remote Desktop in the meta Vision OS app. Like how you can save windows. Hope app can shine re-election of videos like spatial tv one day.

I feel like some of the software expansions announce at meta are headed that way. It’s totally possible. If you look at the layout measuring app, when you paste something to the wall it’s SOLID, developers just need to get this going 🤞🏽

Also this works best on a scanned room it most apps. I use KZbin to keep the screen on one wall indefinitely

with PCVR SteamVR you can pin apps/windows to your hands to carry with you. You're looking for "Smooth Follow" I recommend AR/XR glasses for that stuff. Like XREAL glasses with Beam Pro device so you can "anchor" or smooth follow. Otherwise without smooth follow, any XR glasses plugged into a phone directly will just wobble in real time which can sometimes make people feel nautious, especially in a car or outside. Smooth follow, will still follow but at a calmer rate so it doesnt jump for every step/bump. Body Anchor is similar to VR really the image is anchored somewhere and you have 3DOF (sometimes 6DOF) around it. (degrees of freedom)

Yes, I've read in forums and somewhere on the Meta site that passthrough is harder on the battery. I ran a quick test a while back and found that doing everything in VR, as opposed to passthrough mode, had my battery draining far less quickly. I estimated about 20-25% better longevity.

I'd love to be able to help offer feedback, testing, etc but the devs do not seem to be active even in their discord. @@TheConstruct_VR zoom feature ,a.k.a magnification feature since i have abit of an eye sight problem so i need (whould love) to be able to read text in vr , i know you can move your face closer to some windows but then it gets greyed out if you get to close and when i saw the apple headset vision pro and that it had those features buildt in i got pretty mad at Metas lazyness not haveing those features even tho they have been at it ALOT longer then apple has

@@Pfhriller yeah accessibility needs more attention across tech for sure. The Apple Vision Pro has so much tech in it and for that price I would expect it! But I think Meta was too focused on gaming early on (not giving them a pass). They need to get with the program if they want to lead the XR space. Thanks for the input!

@@TheConstruct_VR for the price of apple vision pro you do expect to get it all but still as their first headset and comes with so much software out of the box ,and meta has made afew headsets now and they dont seem to care ,its like they are afraid to invest abit of time and money into developing good features for accsessability ,for example if they used good passthrou cameras users could use it as a real life magnifier to read stuff outside of the headset and they can never make me belive that adding a zoom *magnifier* in the questOS is impossible due to how it should be activated ,well thanks for your time and all the best to you and your family!

Opening the keyboard actually seems to load a webpage to a keyboard. But this now gives an ssl error. Was it too much to ask for the keyboard to be hosted locally by the headset -_- Definitely not a good first impression of this app

While I'll admit the concept of recreating visionOS as an app for Quest is cheesy, I think it's a good proof of concept that shows the capability of this device. There are similar apps on the Vision Pro, such as Typos, an app that lets you use your iPhone as a keyboard. Even though the implementation is off, it gives a good sense of what that interface could be like. And, for what its worth, the environments on this app look great!

@@MS-1994 Sucks when cost has to be a factor for some, but I consider myself worth the best. As for weight, I can watch two 3d 4k films a night without fatigue. There's also a plethora of inexpensive, 3rd party gear to help for those that find it uncomfortable. I review for amzaon and do all of it inside vision pro with my macbook air. When anything else on the market can make that claim, Ill consider them.

Tecnologically..the Nintendo Gameboy was a second rate product next to the Sega Game Gear as well. In terms of Developer support and convenience.....not so much..and especially not for a couple grand less. Apple Vision pro sales are all but dead as people wait for a cheaper more affordable option.
