Metabo is my primary cordless tool line. I only have 18V tools, but I use 18/36 MultiVolt batteries on all 8 of them. Good of you to do this. When I first got into the line it took me a little research to figure out that I shouldn't get the AC adapter. I almost bought one but figured it out in time. 18V Batt- Tool Specific 36V AC Adapter- Tool Specific MultiVolt- Fits both. This video makes it pretty clear, and should eliminate the guesswork for anyone getting into the lineup.

Another good tip is the USB on the charger, will operate without being plugged into the wall IF you put a multi volt battery on it. You can have a cordless usb power source. Won't power with an 18v on it.

Love the Metabo hpt videos man, l subcribed for em. I hope you can review some of the newer tools that literally no one has made videos of yet, like the right angle high power drill and the two newer rotary hammers.

Thanks man! Appreciate the comment. Unfortunately, there are no local stores carrying MHPT near me, on line is the only way i'll see them. Makes it harder to get stuff just to review. The right angle drill is most likely, as I could use it. The two new rotary hammers I have no need for, they'll have to wait till I can snag one on a better price.

My question is what’s the difference between the triple hammer impact, and their regular impact?

The triple hammer is as it says, the 'dog' or impacting hammer inside the tool makes a triple hit per rotation, where typical impacts are a double hit. BUT I could write pages to explain how that isn't really true, or I could direct you to the slow motion camera and content done by the amazing @torquetestchannel @ttc search their content on the triple hammer impact, it'll answer all your questions better than I can, in 10k fps video on top of it!

Can I use my 18 volt charger to chafe the 36v

The MetaboHPT chargers I have all list 18/36v on them. I've seen the ones that only say 18v but have never tried the 36v batteries on them. Only making an assumption, if the battery fits on it, and the lights says it's charging, i'd think it would work, being the batteries are 18 and 36 volt, BUT i'm only assuming. I don't have a 'for sure' answer for you. I'll try to find an 18v only charger and give it a try for you. Give me a few days as i'm not sure where i've packed them away at.
