I don’t understand. Can’t you merely remove all the attachments and place a 1/4” bit directly into the bare shank? I guess you are concerned the bit may fall out?

It’s the only one with a 1/2 inch full metal chuck not that you need it in a drill that small lol

the directions says: speed one is fpr screwing and two for the drill.

Speed two allowed me to "push" the limits of each tool and see how they would perform under tougher conditions. But you would be correct, the optimal setting for screws would more than likely be speed one where the tools can exert more torque.👍🏻
