I had epilepsy for 35 years. It is now gone thanks to keto and then a carnivore diet. Thank you for the work you do. Not having seizures anymore is like having a whole new life.

I'm on a Ketovore/Carnivore diet for a month now.I started because of having spent 8 months in bed having so many seizures and on very large doses of meds didn't help.I lost alot of strength and got very heavy,but am losing weight,body is strengthening again thank God! I was put on large dose of a new med few months ago but had to plead to be lowered a bit,i was,and the seizures stopped for the most part. I only realised recently the Ketogenic diet was used before Big Pharma came along as treatment for seizures. My body,esp my brain is still getting used to using Ketones from fat as primary fuel source instead of the laarge amounts of sugar and processed carbs i used to feed myself and have the odd absence seizure. I do take coconut oil for extra fat and Ketones and it helped for years with medication side effects for years. Any time i ever mentioned natural alternatives my Neurologist would've got sarcastic,rude of laughed about it and i always got the "Only medication's work" line every time-I'm on my 3rd Neurologist,my first got my seizures controlled but he retired and been not great since,(long story short). Getting Electrolyte balance is tricky tho as i'm on bitt of a budget. Really glad your seizures have stopped,God bless you!!🙏
