That is why you need to calculate your BMR based on LBM ( lean Body Mass)

I need some advice! I'm trying to lose some weight, and I'd like to calculate my caloric deficit to do it, but I'm struggling with calculating my ACTIVITY FACTOR! I used to be a student and doing just home and studies activities, then I've started to exercise 25 days ago (5 or 6 times a week for at least half an hour; I do especially some HIIT or some jogging and some workout for muscles like abs, glutes, legs, depending on the day). Anyway, except for that and for a more healty diet, my lifestyle is pretty still the same! SO: when calculating my activity factor, should I consider 1.375 as a value (light to moderate exercise)? Thanks a lot!!!

I think that is probably a good number to start with. Just check your weight over a couple of weeks, and if you need to adjust that number make an adjustment, or try to maybe do more active things outside of just working out, like taking a walk and listening to music or go out and take some photos with your phone, anything that requires movement. Everyone's body is different and you have to find what works for you.

The thing is that I was trying ti calculate calories to cause a deficit in calories no matter the exercise, so I could have a better control of my way to a healthier lifestyle. Aniway, I'm moving forward, 'cause I lost a kilo that doesn't seem ti be just water. Maybe I only have ti rely on patience and making small adjustements. I'll take more walks as soon as the quarantine ends!!! Thank you again

why do BMR differs person to person? we all have same organs. why do some peoples organs consume more calories and others less?

Some people have a faster metabolism than others. They’re body just breaks down the food way quicker and uses it in different ways some are just blessed with those genetics.

The more muscle someone has the more calories they burn at rest. That’s why body builders consume a lot of calories
