Takeaways: 1. Start ur day with savoury breakfast ( never with any kind of sweet not even fruits) 2. Ear ur lunch & dinner in order of fibre protein fat carb dessert (if any) 3. Never eat ur carbs naked 4. Sugar cook your body from inside so avoid it almost 5. Before ur meal ( containg carb) drink vinegar in diluted form 6. Post eating always move your muscles ( even light excercises will do ) for atleast 10 mins 7. Lack of sleep puts extra exaggeration in body demanding for carbs and excess carbs lead to poor sleep. Do not fall in the vicious circle, avoid sugar particularly when u are out of sleep. 8. Avoid all forms of processed food even breakfast cereals 9. Whenever eating something for snacks like pastries or ice cream or chips or cookies to satisfy taste buds etc ( occasionally) always eat first some protein/fibre/fat/dahi/almond etc 10. Eating fruits after meals get fermented in body is an urban myth. Don't go by it. Infact it saves you from unhealthy dessert post meals. Feel free to eat whole fruits as dessert post meals. Thanks J&J for amazing & informative podcast. Would be waiting for part 2.

Together we reversed the sugar levels from over 20 down to between 4.5 and 7.5, and since then he has the odd spike over 10. I somehow found your KZbin videos on glucose spikes and we have both included your hacks in our dietary lifestyles. I have been carrying out controlled experiments on myself. I find after instigating your hacks over a period of four weeks, I have better mental health, I am losing fat, slimming down, not necessarily losing weight as muscle weighs more than fat. About 2 months ago, I realized how much my diet was affecting my daily life, and I started cutting out processed sugars, replacing them with fruits and vegetables and I have noticed a huge difference already! I no longer feel chronic pain in my ovaries, and my overall mood and health has improved. If only she would have known that with her low thyroid; with natural hormone & glucose balancing, she would have learned the tools to know body bliss. After significant trauma both physically & emotionally, my body started shutting down, was so out of balance, I got brain fog & severe depression. I started studying neuroplasticity and that's how I started following Jay, Andrew Huberman & The Diary of a CEO to hear all the amazing guests like Jessie. Love this! my notes, love her! 1. savoury breakfast over sweet ones 2. eat veges first then your rice/bread/fruit. the order of the food matters and determines the glucose effect on your body 3. have 1 tbsp of vinegar in a big glass of water before a meal thats high in card/sugar/starch or make vinegar as dressing for salad vinegar contain acetic acid, if you have it before a meal, its gonna slow down how quickly food breaks down into glucose in your body = slow down digestion = fuller for longer = glucose arrive more slowly into your blood 4. put clothing (protein/fat/fibre) on your carb/sugar, dont just eat it naked ie bread with avocado/cheese or almonds to cookies or greek yogurt

White malbury leaves, lemon extract, cinnamon, anti oxidants from green vegetables. Take together in pill. Eat b4 meal. Reduce glucose by 40%. 6. Symptoms are messages. For ex acne

Thank you, Jay, for having this guest. I thank her for caring enough for others to share so much information, not keeping the info "a secret" for financial gain and popularity. Her openness causes me to WANT to buy her book, and I just did!!! I just found your channel today.

I've been dealing with so many issues in my life, that was body was extremely affected. I woke up, one day, and realized what I been doing to my body and my overall health. I've been working hard at it, but this information is GOLD! thank you again.

You guys, I feel so hyped. I am at the beginning of implementing GLUCOSE HACKS… It´s 11:58 am. I am on maternal leave at home with my son. Now it is the time I would usually have lunch. Well, I would sometimes have lunch at 11:00 am, because I would be fricking hungry already… So as I said… It´s 11:58… Im still not hungry… And I am speed Cleaning my apartment… Normally I would try to have a nap as soon as my son would asleep for his nap. He is sleeping… and I dont need it. Well, it’s still soon to tell if I will have much satisfying life from now on thanks to this awesome french scientist, but I feel hope. And joy. And I dont feel hungry :-)) Thank you for your work and for your podcast! ❤🎉

Wow This is one of the best interviews ever. Very valuable and so much precious information I wasnt aware of despite having pretty broad theoretical knowledge on nutrition but also as a person who's always been struggling with obesity. Now I understand it more and feel even more motivated to keep insulin and glucose problems at bay. Thank you!

Thank you a ton. Your sharings are really helpful for me when my mood usually goes down after having breakfast. I can't have an effective day as I set. I can understand what's happening with my energy although I know I need to meditate and improve my mindfulness. Now I've found the truth. I will put it into practice. Here are some: 1. Eat unprocessed fruits in my breakfast. 2. Enjoy fibre before protein, and fat- and put carbs in the final place. 3. Add some diluted vinegar to my meal 4. Take a light exercise for at least 10 minutes after meals 5. Avoid naked carbs

I am so thankful that my Polish Dad and Korean Mom taught me, in the 1970's, about real foods, nutrients, refined sugars, etc. and how it all affects the body and mind. It was at a common sense level back then, and now in modern day, science backs up that common sense knowledge. ❤ Keeping the body moving is beneficial for soooooo many reasons. 😊 What foods are selected is very important as well. 😊 Old school principles work so well for my body, heart, soul, and mind. Timeless and Priceless. ❤

I was diagnosed with extreme sugar allergies amongst many others when I was 4. No processed foods touch my lips. I make everything from scratch. Consume all goat products, certain veggies, grass fed meat, whole fruit, walnuts, pasture raised eggs, avocados, olive oil. I drink water, infused tea, goat based chocolate milk made from scratch, of course. I exercise 4-6 days a week. My Instant pot is my friend. I use it 2-3 times a week. In my 70s - no pain, no drugs, no smoking, no alcohol, no caffeine, no sugar, no grains - I enjoy life because I feel good. Oh, I do not eat past 4 PM. 5' 1" 110 lbs. Hope is over-rated! I take life as is, learn and grow and pass it on. Knowledge is power. Once we know, we can change. ❤

My point is most happiness and positive vibes are actually born out deep sorrow and struggle in life.

Also drink a tall glass of water before each meal. It helps you feel more satiated and prevents over eating. In our vedas, they say pani khane se pehle amrit hai, khane samaye Anand hai, khane ke turant baad zahar hai, khane ke ghanto baad bal hai. I agree with Jay about the food tasting better in India, since they are not highly processed. In the U S A, I felt if I was blind, I would not know what veggie I was eating since the flavor and aroma are missing. My neighbor gave me a cucumber he grew over the summer in his garden. It gave me so much joy when I realized it tasted and smelled like the cucumbers I was used to, the ones that grew back home in our garden. I have since started growing tomatoes, chilies and cucumbers during the summer here. The flavor profile and aromas are so much better.

It must be half hour before or you will dilute stomach juices which leads to malabsorption and malnutrition🙏❗It is a great thing to do since dehydration can lead to hunger.

Vedas also point digestion as a fire - a whole glass of water can fully take that fire down. After that glass we need to wait at least half an hour to make that fire burn back. Or you can take warm water while eating but half a glass . That way you can fill up the stomach and help digestion. Water should be 1/3. Food 1/3. And air 1/3. For good digestion.

Been sugar & processed grain free for the past 12 months… I used. Used MCT oil to control sugar cravings first couple of weeks. The most difficult part was getting others to stop trying to get me to eat crap at family gatherings. Like me stopping sugar somehow affected them. I stopped worrying about their feelings and just say no without trying to justify my choices.

Jesse is awesome, she gives practical tips or hacks that can help with the glucose spikes...love her! The sad thing is, I shared a lot of videos to my friends and family about the Glucose Goddess and most of them just say “yes” but still do what they want to do, change is hard but if it comes to our health it's really important to understand and listen to what our body tells us. I don't look at a scale anymore, as long as I'm healthy and my current clothes still fit me, that's the most important. I will be 59 in two days and still not taking any maintenance pills. ❤
