I saw this personally when I went to Germany twice for several months each time. I got so healthy and felt so good, then I came back and tanked.. it's been a struggle ever since then to replicate that level of well-being, even when I'm able to manage my food intake well and exercise a lot. I really think subtle differences in food supply changed things for me.

Thank you for sharing the Food Fight USA information. Todd Wagner mentioned an excuse that I often hear, ”It’s hard - I can avoid alcohol and tobacco but I HAVE TO EAT.” Here is my answer: We have to breathe - we don’t have to breathe smoke. We have to drink - we don’t have to drink alcohol. We have to eat - we don’t have to eat junk and/or ultra-processed food-like substances. Thanks again.

So glad to see this change beginning. The mess we’re in is heartbreaking. I’m a retired dietitian; my husband and I are looking forward to the food in Europe where we’ll be living in late 2025.

FoodFight USA is certainly helping make that change happen! Thanks for watching!

Thank you. I'm 5 foot and went from 80kg down to 60kg without trying just by going low carb (to remit my diabetes successfully). I've just celebrated my 3 year anniversary. I am now metabolically healthy.

@@MetabolicHealthSummit Thank you. It was reading the experiences of people below videos that encouraged me to try it. I am very thankful that I found out about low carb when I was trying to find out about the food guidelines for diabetics after being diagnosed. It's amazing how much information has become available just in the 3 years since I changed to low carb and I'm thankful for the people who provide this. I saw a diabetes dietician just after I started low carb and she told me I wasn't eating enough carbs and that I would lose muscle. I kept doing what I was doing (I sent through my successful blood test results 3 months later!!!) and was checked by an exercise physiologist after one year and was told my muscles are fine.

Related to your interest in migraines, I know keto really helps, but have you checked out Angela A Stanton, PhD and her migraine protocol and book. I got my best understanding of electrolytes management by reading her teachings. I've been a keto nerd for over 6 years, and I finally understood salt and potassium management after reading her work. She reports 100% remission in her protocol followers, some are keto, some are carnivore, some are just careful and prevent migraines with salt during the prodrome.

Great conversation. One minor criticism: I think you should somehow announce, like with a small graphic or something, when there's an interruption for a product placement, it's very confusing for a second when it looks like you've completely changed the subject.

Umm, We don't have food warning labels in Canada. There are still chemical ingredients in our products and no "warning"

Actually, calories do not matter. They are thermal energy only. The easiest meaningful we can track in terms of energy consumption would be macros.

So the “Good Food, Bad Food” quote does not come from Dr Robert Lustig…? 🤔
@user-gl9iz1bp1rАй бұрын
Cui Bono - for whose benefit? The Govt subsidies (with tax dollars) soy, wheat, corn, and rice. These cheap ingredients are used in combination with sugar and seed oils by the ultra-processed food industry (highly profitable) that then provide an addictive dopamine hit. As people get sick, their doctor uses drugs (more profits) to deal with the symptoms.

Instead of standing off and throwing verbal hand grenades at each other, please find a conversation where a carnivore advocate and a whole food plant based (WFPB) advocate have a meaningful discussion about how they arrive at what appear to be opposite successful approaches to long-term (10+ years) healthspan. Does epigenetics explain how some people decline on a WFPB diet and thrive long-term on a carnivore diet while other people decline on a carnivore diet and thrive long-term on a WFPB diet?

I don’t think she says she has a 100% success rate. I wouldn’t trust that either. I think she had her own migraines so took a deep dive into the subject.

Processed food manufacturers need to hear from consumers that less ADDED chemicals, sugar, oil and salt is wanted in their food products. Why is there so much ADDED sugar in everything, even bread. That's just crazy Email, text, tweet or phone your favorite producer of poison and let them know consumers want less salt, oils and sugars in their products. Let their customer service department know that all the extra added salt, oil and sugar is not necessary or desired and is causing health issues. Reduce or eliminate highly processed food from your diet if you can. Go vegan for your health, whole food plant based. Go vegan for the animals. Go vegan for the planet. Go vegan and be healthier and happier. A lower risk of heart disease and cancer for you and a better planet for everyone, human and animals. Eating healthy is not a diet it is a healthy life style. Go out and look around. The vast majority of people you see are obese or al least over weight. People do not need to be fat shamed BUT being over weight is not healthy and leads to a host of illnesses. When you look around you can see all the unhealthy people without taking a blood test or a fitness test "NORMAL" for the average American is "UNHEALTHY" The health of society is in decline.
@jobrown81462 ай бұрын
Thankfully, after changing to low carb 3 years ago, I'm no longer "normal". I am definitely metabolically healthy now.

NO to vegan. Yes to very low-carb whole foods minimally processed; wild-caught fish; meat from grass-fed animals raised by regenerative farming and high healthy animal fats; A2 dairy; pasture-raised eggs. Ban the use of glyphosate and paraquat, seed oils and sugar in everything, "natural" flavors, synthetic colors, and the excess of preservatives, and so many things.

Because if they do not add sugar to the bread nobody wants to eat it. Naturally fermented bread like how people made it for thousands of years tastes very different and has a very different impact on your body. After the invention of bakers yeast or w/e they use atm to make bread raise very fast if you dont add a load of sugar to it its not edible. Try it yourself at home for reference dont have to believe me like that. They also use vegetable oil instead of butter etc to make it to increase shelf life. Vegetable oil has no taste.

I take it you believe a vegan diet will bring long-term health to humans specifically and to the Earth generally. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I disagree.😮

I gather you believe the vegan lifestyle promotes optimal health for our species and our planet. 🤔 Sorry to burst your bubble, but this vegan plan is hogwash. Review your biochemistry and anthropology if you have doubts about my claims. 😮
