Fnaf, Cuphead, and Doki Doki are all games I think you need to play more of. Get to the end on all of them! If you're looking for more games to play, I recommend Bendy and the Ink Machine, as well as Shovel Knight.

Hi Mat! I recommend trying out Hollow Knight sometime, it's a great game with amazing music. Also, the reaction you have to the main plot being so dark is very relatable.

You're pretty good, espeically as you're playing on a keyboard and mouse! A controller definitely makes life easier though, as you can assign shoot to one of the triggers/bumpers so you don't ever have to let go while you focus on platforming.

not sure if you plan on playing more of this game, but since it is one of my favorite games which I am now playing for the 6th time, I thought I'd leave you some advice in case ya do. (if you just want to figure everything out yourself that's fair, you don't need to read the rest) - when you parry something (most things, there are some exceptions) you do get an advantage from that, an extra card or special attack. - in every world (of which there are 3) there is a little mausoleum building (white, greek looking building). doing those helps you train to get better at parrying and if you complete one of these levels it gives you an super move, for which you use up 5 special attack cards (it's worth it) the first one of these is the best one in my personal opinion. - REALLY get used to using the dash, it can REALLY come in handy many times, without using it the game will be close to unbeatable (also get used to jump-dashing, that's gonna be important. - the shots that are the easiest to use are called the "chaser" which does little damage but goes straight to the enemy all the time, no matter where you point it, and the "roundabout", which if you shoot it in one direction, comes back the other way around like a boomerang, making it easy to hit things. (these can be bought at the pig) - the best charm to unlock (in my and many others opinion) is the "smokebomb" which makes it so that your dash also counts as a dodge, giving you invincibility frames. yes, this does mean that you no longer have that extra life, but if you learn how to use it, it's def worth it. outside of that, the good news is that you haven't done the easiest bossfight of the first area yet, the bad news is that you also haven't done the 2 hardest ones of the first area yet... and they only become harder in the next areas so... enjoy :)
