In this tutorial we will fix the flying head problem. But, if you have a body motion capture system, you do not need this lesson, because the information about the rotation of the head will be taken from the motion capture. How to export only facial expressions, without head rotation, I showed in the last lesson.

You sir, are the one. Disabling Post Process just did SOMETHING to the Metahuman Body that didn't seem right....this method, although tedious, is the BEST method.

I find deleting the Location Keys for the mha_head_ik_ctrl in both the Body and the Face of the BP Identity in the Sequence will remove unwanted jiggle. If needed, the in the Head area, manually adjust the position values of Location X and Location Y of the mha_head_ik_ctrl .

Any insight on how to get this to actually work with moving metahumans? So far I have seen 3 or 4 videos and none of them have fixed this integration problem for me. Maybe I am missing something, but this seems really difficult to implement unless it is on static cinematics

if you have MC data, the gead rotation will be from it. In MH performance, just choose export animation withot head rotation

Did you try it with a body animation ? I tried to add body animation and keep the head rotation but didn't work

for me too. It only works with static body. When you have a body movement, the head rotation goes from it

and now the metahuman floats like some genie... i dont get it, they give the most amazing tech for use just for such a simple task like that to be unusable? why are they so bad at the basics all the time??
