at 3:14 how how does oxygen ion combine with water molecule to give hydroxide ion?
@naveensundar47654 жыл бұрын
in the last section of your video, you have explained how H2CO3 generally existed i.e H and HCO3 ion but in the reaction of metal carbonate and bicarbonate = salt + H2CO3 and you said that H2CO3 being unstable it decompose to CO2 and H2O My question is that how H2CO3 in this 2 above cases decompose to different element/compound i.e in 1st H2CO3 = H + HCO3 2nd H2CO3 = H2O + CO2
@bhuviblinkarmystaybsa7190 Жыл бұрын
They are not diff like he explained in the prev vid hco3 will further react and form h20+co2

Can you pls tell me that in acid and base reaction why u did not take the valency for the mg
@NHASAN-jw7yc2 жыл бұрын
Because magnesium is a ion and there charges is like there velencies like Mg+ means it have one less electrone

Hii if anyone reading this Please help me, I have a doubt like will metallic oxide be soluble in basic solution and will non metallic oxide be soluble in acidic solution??
@bhuviblinkarmystaybsa7190 Жыл бұрын
Yes metal oxides are soluble in bases and Non-metal oxides such as sulphur dioxide contain H+ ions that dissolve in water to form acidic solutions.

Sir plz tell me we can say Metal oxide is a base

What will happen when metal oxide is reacted with non metal oxide
@bhuviblinkarmystaybsa7190 Жыл бұрын
Reaction of a metal oxide with a nonmetal oxide gives an oxysalt; reaction of a metal hydroxide with a nonmetal oxide produces a "hydrogen" oxysalt. This is essentially a reaction of the O2- or OH- in the metal compound with the molecular nonmetal oxide.
