I love both versions of the song... but the reimagined version definitely gets you in the feels. Just the lyrics alone are simply amazing. Crazy how time goes by and you reflect on songs you grew up listening to at a point in your life when your more mature..... how those songs influenced you. So happy for the band making gold status on that album. Well deserved.

TrueShot Official the video came out the day before we saw them, and my wife and I probably watched it about 20 times. A lot of people clearly hadn’t, cause everyone knew the lyrics, but didn’t realize how slow the whole song was, and would sing a few words ahead before they realized how much he slows down the “feet don’t fail me now” line. But yeah, it was amazing.

Theres a guy named Sean Rooney on YT that says he arranged and played on the recording of this song. He has a video of him playing the entire song. If you watch him play the piano solo vs Ronnie, its not the same hand movements. I think Ronnie is a visionary and lyrical genius but I do think he definitely gets help bringing it to full fruition. Ronnie didn't write nor record the piano for this. An Irish musician recorded his own rendition of the song on the piano and sent it to Ronnie not expecting to get any reply he was asked can he use it and he will give him credit for it. No credit given yet as far as I'm aware.
